Good menu selection Had the very large salmon with new potatoes and garden peas. Ham egg and chips. The honey/almond ice cream is absolutely delicious. We did share as it is a large and filling dessert.

We went for evening dinner and I ordered beer battered fish, the batter was soggy and it looked like the fish had been frozen. My husbands meal was edible. Would think twice about dining here again.

this is the best pub in the area. The food is freshly made and rotates through out the week. Made with care, satisfing fare. Great drafts, also enjoyed by the locals.

Found this pub by chance and got about the last parking spot. Found staff very welcoming. Food good quality and a fair choice. (3 tasty lamb chops in a minted gravy) Not one of the usual chain style pubs. Would happily return
