I went to the Vine this evening. With my Partner, Daughter and my mum. It was quiet in the pub/restaurant. But unfortunately this was correct, there was a dog in the bar seating area... More

A welcome discovery while out walking. A welcoming pub restaurant with good wines and beers, and an extensive - to my mind over-ambitious - menu. The fish and chips were excellent.

We held our wedding anniversary party here and everyone commented how nice it was and how good the food (finger buffet) was. Mandy and her team made it very easy for us and ensured prior to the event she was clear on our requirements including putting on my favourite beer! On the night she ensured everything went smoothly enabling us... More

Been a little while since our last visit, took the opportunity to enjoy some Saturday afternoon sunshine. Food was good and although initially appeared a little pricy was well cooked and plentiful. A large garden with plenty to keep the kids busy. Car parking. Easy access for wheelchairs and buggies. Large conservatory and indoor covers for cooler days.

We visited for dinner on Saturday night. They were very busy, but opened a little side room to accommodate us. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but we didn't mind as they had a large party in, and we knew the food was freshly cooked. I had the confit of... More

Extortionate price (£8.50),for basically 9 undercooked chips and one fork of cod covered in greasy batter !!!!! .One to be avoided !!!!!!!. Shame as some of the food coming out looked fine.

We ate lunch here and it was delicious, old fashioned pub, in the nicest possible way, in a pleasant village. All dishes were tasty and the vegetables cooked to perfection, we couldn't resist a pudding and all three were lip smacking good! Dogs are allowed on non carpeted areas and ours enjoyed her treat. The staff were friendly and helpful and... More
