My friend and I visited this cafe for the first time today, having walked the “strawberry line” from Congresbury. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My mushroom and cheese panini with accompanying side salad/crisps was delicious and excellent. Will definitely be back!
Lovely little cafe, freshly cooked food, some vegan options, excellent home made cake, dog allowed in,
We stopped by for a breakfast enroute to a funeral. The menu was fantastic and covered all bases. It was warm and cosy (open fire) and the staff were so kind and friendly. Lots of second hand books for sale too. Highly recommend x
Called here on our way home to the midlands from a stay in Devon. Go and support these lovely people, it’s a charitable organisation supporting people with additional needs in employment. Not only that, the food is delicious, good value and made with high quality...ingredients (my husband loved the bacon and the ham in my panini was delicious). Super friendly, accommodating staff who let me sort out my sons lunch myself (he’s fussy) and provided me with bread and butter free of charge. Super experience all round, we have left with full bellies ready for our journey home for well under £20. Thank you 😊More
We are regular visitors to the cafe for lunches and have always enjoyed the atmosphere there, as the staff are friendly and helpful. The paninis and jacket potatoes are very good as are the soups especially the parsnip carrot and ginger on a cold day....Also the cakes and biscuits. It is always a treat to visit them,More
You can tell this is in an old railway waiting room because, happily, hardly anything has been updated! Even the old-style large radiators are still there, just like at school! We absolutely loved it!! And as for the food - wow, so tasty and generous....We had toasted panini with cheese (proper Cheddar) and chutney plus side dishes, such as crisps, very generous salad, mayonnaise aplenty, all served with smiling eyes peering over the mask. Really pleasant baristresses, very jolly. The toilet (in the other little half of the cafe waiting room) is pristine, too. Everything quirky, historic and cute! We absolutely loved it. We'll be back...More
Lovely cafe with lots of choice of hot and cold food and drinks. Really nice atmosphere with clean and tidy tables. Friendly serving staff, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely visit again.
Despite a calamity in the kitchen, with a shelf falling off the wall, the food was excellent. The staff are a credit to you and a special mention to Kevin who kept his cool despite the chaos that ensued . Fantastic service and will definitely...be returning.More
A wonderful little cafe - we dropped in on a whim after a short walk along the Strawberry Line. The menu is entirely typical for a small cafe - paninis, jacket potatoes, all-day breakfasts, soups - but what came was a lovely surprise! We had...a panini and two soups - all homemade and they were absolutely delicious! The soup had great depth of flavour and the bread was clearly freshly made (warm in the middle and crusty on the outside). The staff were also fantastic - they were attentive, professional and wonderfully polite! I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area who wants a light snack and mid-morning/afternoon cake. Despite looking tiny, there is a surprising amount of room, with lovely-looking benches outside and a number of tables inside. And to top it off, it's a non-profit community cafe that hires people to help get them work experience!!!More
I love this place!! Perfect place to stop for a treat after a walk on the Strawberry Line. The panini was lovely and well presented, and the home made cake was absolutely gorgeous! The staff were really friendly and helpful, and made us feel very...welcome, would definitely recommend this place ☺️☺️More
I have visited this cafe a fair few times with my family, the staff are very friendly and chatty, the food is very well presented and tastes lovely. I would recommend the Brie, bacon and cranberry panini and my partner and children would recommend the...breakfast. The homemade cakes are delicious and very easy to takeaway for later. Keep up all the hard work, we will see you again very soon 👍🏼😀More
Awful customer service, they are in a good location and have survived Covid with enough spare capacity not to care, Like a 1970 Monty Python take on English food ,motorways and greasy spoons, Last order goes to kitchen 1min before two, Coffee machine been cleaned,...Instant at same price. No hot food ,(heated) People before us told that's the last bag of crisps as 1of three children selected a bag none for the other children. We hav'nt the staff to get any more from the store room! Ok. They're told they can have Bacon and cheese but cold, oops sorry NO as the, cheese in fridge!!and is that not a good place for it ..no its away untill tomorrow,so cold Bacon, Is the bacon not in a fridge? I assume a different fridge under guard untill tomorrow for the cheese. We are simply told last order goes to kitchen at 1 min to two yep it now dead on two Had we not wasted time complaint to c,19 regs a listen to them would we have got instant coffee and a warmed Artisan Pandemic or Panini ! Computer say no Staff say we are making loads b,,,offf Been before and the food was OK God rest the UK Hostility industries, It's not very Hospitable!More
Hi Alan, sorry to hear you didn't have a very good service when you visited our café. This isn't acceptable and we would really like to address this with the staff member concerned. Please can you email me further details such as the date and...More
Lovely breakfast, polite service and great to see the building being used in this way. Starred the day off nicely.
Cafe is at the Yatton railway station and we called in when we were catching a train to Weston super Mare. Had a very nice bacon Buttie and a pleasant hot chocolate. Young lady that served us was very pleasant and efficient. Certainly worth giving...yourself an extra ten minutes to get a sandwich if you are travelling from this station. Also took away a date and honey flapjack which was delicious.More
