Ate here on a busy Saturday night. Service was frankly pretty poor - it took an age for anyone to take our order and the table service was lacklustre forgetting drinks with little in the way of apology.
Food was good (when it arrived) but...More
Our first visit. 9 of us for a last minute booking; quite an ask. We were welcomed despite the already busy lunch service. The service was friendly and the food (and beer) was exceptionally good. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you :)
This was our first trip with our 4 month old puppy and everything was perfect. Nice friendly staff and owners. A local pub supported by locals and their dogs. Menu was good, fresh food. Room was small but quaint and was perfect for a short...More
I have eaten here many times but this evenings meal was disappointing. The salmon main was tiny with no vegetables and l left hungry. Overpriced and such a shame as my previous experiences have been good.
Took advantage of the sunday stay deal, 3 course Sunday meal, 2 course evening meal, full English breakfast, free paper, a welcome drink and a room for the night all for £150, bargain. Service great especially the french lady who i assume was the manageress....More

Really enjoyed the food. I have eaten in a lot of places all over...More

Visited with family for a Christmas catch up and was thoroughly impressed as I always am. I had the stone bass, with red cabbage and roasted fish bone sauce which was lovely, the fish was creamy and light, the cabbage was tart with a hint...More
Stayed one night while visiting family in the area. Booked in via the bar and taken up to the room by really friendly staff who explained the 3 keys needed to access the building, pub and room.
Room beautifully furnished, well equipped with full size...More

We do have good wheelchair access into the pub, from the car park and through the rear doors. The 3 dining rooms at the rear of the pub are then accessible on that level, as are the toilets (we have a disabled toilet). The main bar area at the front of the pub is only accessible by steps I'm afraid.
I hope that helps.
