This sh1ts all over the other pancake and waffle-based farms named after small British birds.
My friend has a very narrow ear canal and they her feel very welcome.
The child has eaten ice cream before, but never in front of a alpaca, which is not a llama.

We arrived at a busy period so had a few minutes wait but it was certainly worth it, we were also given a £2 discount because of the wait time. Biscoff bonanza waffle was absolutely delicious. My children loved seeing the alpacas, chickens and rabbit too. We will be back

We visited Wren Farm Desserts and all enjoyed a freshly cooked waffle. There was a excellent selection including Banoffee Pie, Nuts for Nutella and many more. There was also a fantastic choice of ice creams and milkshakes.
The Parlour was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and efficient.
We sat outside and enjoyed feeding the alpacas and sheep.

Really amazing ice cream, friendly staff.
However the young lady making our milkshakes was messing with her hair putting it back into its bobble and generally styling it. No attempt was made to wash her hands before she carried on preparing the drink, until I complained to another staff member, and then she did clean them. I also bought a can of Tango and was charged £1.00 which us not an issue as that is the going rate at these places but it was a price marked pack of 59p or 2 for £1.00 trading standards states you cannot over charge on an item that is price marked.
It would be interesting to returning the future to see if anything has improved.
I never complain but cleanliness with food and drink is a must.

This beats fighting your way into Skegness or Ingoldmells for an ice cream any day of the week .
And the flavours are different ie Kinder Bueno , Honeycomb crunch, mango and passion fruit but you have traditional ones too mint choc chip , rum and raisin all delicious .
Then you have alpacas and small farm animals for the youngest to enjoy .
All run by Angela Jason and family who provide a lovely friendly welcome .
Congratulations we hope you do well and we’ll be back very soon .

We were recommended to come here & it was honestly the highlight of our annual break so far!!
The brunette lady (owner) was so friendly & kept smiling merrily as she worked & indeed to the customers!!
The desert shop was immaculate & offered a relaxed atmosphere.
The ice cream & cheesecake was delicious. In fact that was the best cheesecake I have ever had.
The animals were well cared for & had plenty of space to enjoy.
Our children absolutely adored being here today.
We was even late leaving, but we weren’t rushed out & even given further smiles & a wave off as we left!!
I strongly recommend this wonderful dessert shop not just for families but animal lovers & those who are partial to sweet treats.
Thank you for a delightful time. We are definitely coming back.

We visited on a Thursday lunchtime - popular little place - so much so, there were no seats left in the cafe! We decided to have a look at the animals first which was lovely. You can purchase animal food if you wish.
On returning to the cafe there were still no seats so we went ahead and ordered with the intention of sitting outside. The waffles and ice cream were great - very fresh tasting.
The seating (just outside the cafe doors) was a bit grubby/stained and the table could have done with a wipe down. It was a very windy day and then started to spit so we had to quickly finish our coffees or else sit in the car!
Luckily there were boxes we could put the remainder of the waffles in - note to oneself - one waffle each is too much!
I wonder if there is any intention to extend the site to include more seating or to at least have some kind of canopy for outside seats. A teepee style would look great in that setting?
The toilet could also do with some TLC and a mirror would have been nice!
The holiday lodges looked lovely!
It looks like the site is an ongoing project so hopefully it will just keep getting bigger and better!

We have driven past Wren Farm many times, but on my birthday we decided to give it a look. Now, I am not a lover of Waffles, but these were freshly made and amazing... I could not eat it all - they were huge. The coffee was great. I liked the lean toward being environment friendly, but this was spoiled a little by the milk shake in plastic - but they are almost there, and I do admire this. Feeding the sheep and Alpaca's absolutely made my day and we will definitely go again. Hopefully in time, there will be a nice selection of cakes and maybe sausage rolls for those that do not like desserts much (my husband...). Very clean and excellent helpful staff. With many thanks, highly recommend.

We have just got back from alpaca trekking and it was great! Loved every minute of it, from the moment we walked in we had the attention from Angela and all the alpacas, Angela taught us about the alpacas and what they like and dislike, walked at our pace, and let us feed the alpacas carrots and food etc, they were so calming it was lovely! Then had lovely hot drinks afterwards! Thank you for your hospitality! Can’t wait to come back for more in the summer 😊

If you live locally or are a holiday maker visiting the area, I would 100% recommend a drive out to this wonderful place!
Easy to find just off of the A52 at Hogsthorpe.
Wren Farm is an amazing venue suitable for all ages, it’s in such a beautiful & tranquil setting, with a great ambiance and super friendly staff!
I’d personally call it ice cream heaven, there is a really great selection of ice cream flavours & desert options.. I’m already planning what sweet treat I’ll have on my next visit!
The alpacas, chickens & rabbits add to the draw, a lovely open space away from the hustle and bustle of the traditional seafront amusements and arcades!
The place is spotless, with plenty of seating, parking & room for the children to enjoy the open space.
10 out of 10 Wren Farm Desserts!
I’ll see you again very soon!

We had a wonderful stay in Robin Lodge where we enjoyed our peaceful surroundings and entertainment from the alpacas!
The lodge was clean and of high standard with everything we needed. Angela went out of her way to ensure we had a great time and everything we need.
Throughout our stay we enjoyed feeding the animals and then ourselves on ice cream, waffles and the dipping plate. Highly recommend them all!
Also make sure you book yourself an alpaca experience - this was fantastic. We learnt so much and it really was enjoyable.
Thank you so much sweet farm for enabling us to create such wonderful memories.
We will be back!

We stayed at Wren Farm for a couple of nights and were not disappointed at all.
At present they have 2 fantastic lodges on the small holding, with alpacas goats sheep, which come up to your front door in the morning so you can hand feed them a fantastic experience.
A very rural setting yet only a 10 minute drive to Chapel St Leonards and fantasy island ideal for both families and couples looking for a great base to explore the area
Angela goes out of her way to make sure you have a fantastic break.
I would recommend this venue highly to stay at

Amazing, would defo go back. I booked here for one night to take my 6 year old. On arrival the lodge was all ready to go and was equipped with everything we needed apart from Wi-Fi but not having Wi-Fi was actually a bit of a godsend as it’s every child’s default these days.
My daughter loved running around looking at the different animals.
Angela who owns Wren farm greeted us and gave us some animal food for the next morning.
Unfortunately the pizza van was in for MOT so we nipped to the local shop for supplies.
We chilled in the beautiful setting and played games, Angela even let my little one bring a rabbit and a Guinea pig back to the lodge. Which she LOVED!!
In the morning we were greeted by dogs, alpacas and goats outside the lodge, my little one couldn’t get out quick enough and fed the alpacas and helped collect eggs from the chickens before letting them out.
A bit of Alpaca trekking before we tidied up and checked out.
My little one doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth so we didn’t sample the desserts but they looked great.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough and close enough to Skegness for a day out.

What a fantastic place! We were driving past, impulsively pulled in and wow I’m glad we did. Visited on a number of occasions whilst on holiday and it never let us down. Everything was perfect, from the pizzas, ice cream and especially the waffles, then the animals to entertain the kids and the most pleasant, friendly, attentive staff you could find. If only I could score it higher than 10 😀
