The food is good. It's not incredible but it is good. They have an ok wine selection which given where it is, it should be fantastic. The portion sizes are large. The atmosphere is ok.

Conveniently located in the middle of Mendoza wine country, the Posada de Jamon was a pleasant break from long wine paired lunches. Their specialty is all things pork, especially ham. At the waitresses recommendation I tried the Carlos V pork, which was a thin piece of pork with a cheese and pineapple sauce. It might sound like a strange combination,... More

The House of Pig.....a wonderful family-owned and operated restaurant specializes in every type of pork you can imagine. And this place is an institution, started about 10 yeas ago when nothing was happening in Valle de Uco, and now you can't get in the place on the weekend without a reservation. I love the milanesa de cerdo with mashed potatoes... More

Pork was delicious, and the 'picada' with ham, salami, home made bread, etc, was perfect. The place is also beautiful. Wishing to come back! Don't miss it!

Besides exquisite pork based dishes (especially asado), there is an extense wine list for every budget. We ordered an "entrada" to share between two and we almost ran out of room for the main dish. But being the food so well prepared, it was a minor effort on our part. Dessert, however, will have to wait until our next visit... More

Wonderful local food with a unique twist on all kinds of ham. Great location and wonderful gardens and neat little store with great artisan crafts.

The Posada is one of "THE" restaurants for the wine business in Mendoza. The restaurant features ham and pork in almost every possible way. The pork ribs are excellent. The patio area is now enclosed and airconditioned, which makes dining a pleasant experience. The Posada is very busy during the harvest.

We stayed at Posada del Jamon on the recommendation of B&B that we stayed in at Lujan de Cuyo. The accommodation is great, cabins are a good size with fridge, microwave, kettle etc. The Posada is ideally located for visiting the wineries in the area. Andrea is incredibly very friendly and helpful and organised a really good wine tasting tour... More

Well advertised with road signs you will easily find the place along the road. With a pleasant garden around you will be welcome in this quiet place. The menu is all pork because this is the concept of the house. But it is very pleasurable, provided of course you like pork ham, sausages etc. Portions are on the gigantic side... More

Billed as the best food in the UCO valley I don't see it. Try Bodega Antimisqt or La Esquina in Tunuyuan
