Booked a table at short notice after we were let down by another restaurant and so glad we did!
The menu is very traditional and all the dishes we had were very tasty and excellent value. Was pleasantly surprised to find vegans were well catered for aswell.
The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly.

We visited for Sunday lunch today, it was absolutely delicious. We had garlic mushrooms to start then my husband had beef and I had lamb, it was hot and fresh it it was a very generous helping. The vegetables were served separately which I love and they also brought a jug of extra gravy without even having to ask.
The pub itself is very old and quaint and clean and inviting and the staff were brilliant.
We would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Paid a visit today for a Sunday lunch (12 - 4pm).
Staff couldn't have been more helpful, with food being served promptly and in a jovial and helpful manner (much thanks to our server on the day, forgive us for not asking your name).
The food itself was tasty and generous in variety, given the understandable limitatiins of the Sunday menu. We will no doubt return to this hidden gem, before too many Sundays have elapsed.

Went today with my family. The staff were friendly and the food was the best ever and plenty of it. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Could not fault one thing. What more can I say one of the most delicious meals we have had. Brilliant.

Visited a few times whilst staying st the glamping pods close by. The staff always remember us and are very friendly. Had a gorgeous meal. Was so tasty. Homemade as well we can't wait to return 😋

My third and most definitely not last stay here. Brought mother with me this time and we were not disappointed. NOTHING is ever too much for Ceri and her team. It is a really friendly place to stay..... the dogs and I will be back again soon!

Just been charged £9:30 for a pint of fosters shandy? A bit pricey in my mind.
On and off me and the wife have been here a number of times mostly for Sunday lunch but I don't think we will be returning.

We visited this delightful pub this evening after a neighbour had recommended it, I am so glad we did.
Pub was so quaint and friendly, the food was absolutely spot on, will definitely visit again.

Used to go to this little country pub when the kids were small ,called in yesterday for Sunday dinner and we weren’t disappointed,the food was just enough and was spot on ,might make this our regular 5*****staff were lovely ,plenty of space no one over looking u x

Lovely welcome with covid restrictions and distancing

Went for Sunday lunch had a delicious meal with loads of meat. Had lemon roulade for afters delicious too. Would recommend, the staff are attentive and efficient the atmosphere lovely.
