Highly recommended, great food and service. Local fresh fish and pigs feature quite heavily for dinner and breakfast. Will be back.

Great location and friendly and attentive staff. Sadly the food was overpriced and not great. Interesting Sounding menu but the food itself did not meet expectations. £25 for a steak.....I could cook better at home!

Warm welcome on a cold Norfolk night with a warm fire and a decent pint. Menu reflected local produce and meal arrived promptly, piping hot and fresh as can be. If you want to eat good quality, well produced local ingredients, traditionally cooked, you can't go wrong here. If you happen to like a good malt whiskey, you've just found... More

We stopped here for a drink and a sandwich whilst on a weekend break in North Norfolk. We asked for the lunch menu and was handed 2 menus with full meals on. When we asked for the sandwich menu the lady said she couldn't find and then rattled off the available sandwiches. I asked for cheese and mustard pickle and... More

Called in for a quick coffee after a bracing January walk. How they can justify £3.75 for a cappuccino is quite beyond me. It was ok but nothing more and I can only think they are capitalising on the fact that the other Cley coffee shop is shut till March. Staff were not particularly friendly and the decor of the... Briefly called into the bar at the George for a much needed pot of tea and warm up on a bitterly cold January morning. I was incredulous at the prices of the drinks. £3.50 for a pot of tea is excessive. The staff were very unwelcoming and the ambience of the place was less than charming. I wasn't sure if... More

We stayed here in December. We went on a Groupon deal. Not sure I would pay full price though. The room was small and a bit cramped, although very warm and cosy which was great as it was very cold outside. The staff were all very welcoming. Not sure I needed to know all about thier private lives though, at... More

Quick lunch with man and dog. Charming staff. Tasty food. Side dishes of sweet potato fries and roasted veg a bit pricey at £4.50 each. Food which was effectively two starters, two sides and two bitter shandy came to £39 . Automatically added 12.5% tip to bill (so included in £39) which whilst I paid it, is a negative in... More
