This restaurant is exactly what we had been looking for in Venice. Set out on a canal in the cannaregio neighbourhood, I knew it was going to be good when all the waiters and cooks were all Italians. The service was friendly and helpful, food...More

Luckily this restaurant was round the corner from our apartment and was recommended by the hotel staff, and he couldn't have recommended a better restaurant! Arrived about 6:30pm and it was quiet so managed to get a seat next to the canal, and the restaurant...More

The menu was like a book, there were so many offerings that it was hard to decide what to eat. The pizza prices were reasonable for a canal front location, but the entree prices were high considering that one would have to order both a...More

We squeaked in at 7:30 without a reservation and had our best dining experience in Venice. This is a popular restaurant--lots of Italian families and American tourists--and it's easy to see why. It's on a charming, uncrowded canal in the Cannaregio district and has lovely...More

It has been written up a lot. Perhaps a bit too much success. Prices are reasonable for Venice, but they were quite busy and in a hurry. Food very good, bill not accurate at the end. We were overcharged a Euro, so not worth quibbling...More

Good food, varied menu, nice location, excellent table service. Sitting outside overlooking quite an attractive canal, the location is excellent. Easily reached by waterbus stopping at Guglie. Reasonable value for money. Strongly recommended.

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)

bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
