Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I’ve had many visits here especially for lunch. The food is excellent, well cooked, well presented and well priced. The garden is lovely for drinks outside. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, and you wont feel rushed to leave at the end of...your meal. I would definitely recommend a visit here, you won’t be disappointed.More

Usually we go for an evening meal to celebrate special occasions but this time we attended for a Sunday lunch, which was really nice. There was a nice variety of food, which catered for all of us. The food was delicious, and the service was...great. We felt extremely welcomed and all enjoyed our time. Will definitely be going back.More

Went to lunch with four of my girlfriends, Everyone of us had an absolutely superb meal. Could not fault a thing. I had a home-made chicken pie with garlic mash and cabbage and when I go back again I’m going to have exactly the same...thing because it was so good. My friend had the Cod on a bed of chorizo , The cod was so thick and succulent she absolutely loved it. I had probably the best cheesecake I’ve ever had for dessert it was a Biscoff cheesecake OMG I could’ve eaten the whole thing. The waitress was really sweet, friendly and attentive, what a lovely girl. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place.More

As always high quality is standard, politeness of staff is very welcoming. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx A pity Trip Advisor is too expectant of OVER a 100 characters. Hence the xxx nonsense.

Second time in recent months and have to say this time was even better. Kathryn was a charming considerate and kind member of staff. The food was truly delicious and plenty of it and we sat in the back garden and enjoyed a quintessentially English...evening in delightful surroundings. This place is really a hidden gem. Top marks to the Chef and team.More

We had our parents 50th wedding anniversary do here. Not only was the food outstanding, but we couldn’t have got better service from the staff, especially Emma & Georgia who helped organise it all. Everyone is so friendly & helpful, they go above & beyond....Nothing was too much trouble. If you’re holding an event I would highly recommend the Blue Pigeons.More
