Decent enough food. Fish and chips big portion. Prawn salad nice enough. Nothing outstanding. Busy at Friday teatime. Book if you want a table with a dog as there are only a few in the bar area.

Visited on recommendation to try the liver and bacon - superb! The steak and ale pie was homemade with a great suet crust. So good we went again 2 days later and everything we had was just as good. This place mixes traditional small town...More

Pub for the locals. Waiting. Sunday lunch disappointing. Main menu ok. Lack of interest unless you sup there every day and eat the free Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes they give to the bar proppers while you wait patiently until you lose your appetite. Shame....More

We live in Brigg and travel through Caistor quite often but this is the first time we have had a meal there. We found the pub busy and fairly noisy but not in a bad way. It is obviously popular with the locals. Friendly staff...More

We called in for a drink whilst staying in the area. I can’t comment on the food as we only had a drink. Good menu at reasonable prices. It was quite busy for a Wednesday teatime with locals.

Large car park to rear and plenty of parking in market place (2 hours). The pub seemed busy all the time. We visited on two occasions. The locals were quite rude and overly intoxicated! They didn’t want to move from ‘their spot’ so you could...More

Hi, We are very dog friendly! There's only one room that dogs aren't allowed. We'll also provide your pooch with some fresh water.
