Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a little find this was. The location is directly behind the beach, we sat and ate our lunch on the beach, bit of a mistake with the gulls tbh. Not your normal burger from these ladies, the cheese burger is ju.st amazing, so much cheese piled up on it, cooked to perfection and so tasty. We also had the loaded chips, with pulled pork, cheese and bacon, these were tasty too, but the share is a very large portion, too much for 2 people, would do a family of 4 at least. Some outside seating, however, would be great here.

Been here several times before and this time we had a lovely lunch which was freshly cooked by the friendly man working there. He asked us what sauces we wanted on our hot dog and chicken burger and chatted while we waited. The loaded cheesy chips were gorgeous with plenty of cheese . Would highly recommend if down by the beach.

We visited Frankie’s at the Beach and I was served by the owner Frankie :- really welcoming as he explained the menu options to my friends and I as it’s quite a lot to chose from depending on how hungry you are ! The portions are really generous ,totally delicious & excellent quality. Forget chain quality burgers expect a more gourmet experience & friendly staff. The kiosk looked really cool, stylish and ( importantly) clean. Highly recommend a visit then a long walk along the beach !

Tonight we gave " Frankie's " a try, I have to say I was very impressed, the service was friendly , I had a cheese burger and fries, the burger was juicy and meaty, the cheese was nicely melted, it wasn't greasy and the salad was fresh. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. The portions were huge. It beats most places you can get a burger in the area. I highly recommend this food outlet.

Driving the windswept Sussex coast,
A snack and cuppa was needed most.
When Frankie's kiosk appeared in our sights,
We strode up to the counter to view the delights,
So Geoff, the friendly roadside fryer, cooked a hotdog and burger to calm our desire.
It was not only food that was tasty, not dull,
But generous portions to make us feel full.
Two coffees came with froth and great flavour,
The perfect companions to sip and to savour.
So if you are near Camber (especially the Sands),
Just stop by at Frankie's, you'll be in good hands.
Oh and also I'll mention if you've got some scraps,
Then Steven the Seagull likes baguettes and baps.
He won't steal your food - he's very polite,
But he'll be very pleased if you spare him a bite.

We visited Frankies tonight for a family treat of Cheeseburger and Chips. We live locally and wanted to try it for ages. We were really impressed. The menu is extensive. The staff were friendly and their attention to detail was great.
I especially like that they use grated cheese that they melt whilst cooking the burgers and with the additional help of a blowtorch!
I also think it’s so helpful that they add the sauces to the chips and burgers for you.
There is a seating area there or you can sit on the beach and watch the sea. Perfect!

A fantastic place, even on a day of terrible weather. The burgers were cooked while we waited, the weather was too bad to sit and eat outside, but they were wrapped so well they kept hot enough to eat when we got back inside. The Cajun burger with jack Daniel’s sauce was the very best my husband has eaten. My veggie burger was also great, full of flavour, wonderful spicy cheese. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped for lunch after taking the dog for a walk on the beach. I had the crispy chicken burger with cheese. My wife had the hot dog and we shared a portion of cheesy chips. All the food was excellent and freshly cooked. The chips were loaded with a generous portion of cheese. The guy serving was very friendly and chatty and asked us what sauces we wanted, which was much nicer than having to ask or having it added before being served.
We have been several times before and the food and service is consistently good.

Just returned from having lunch at Frankies.
We had a Burger, Cheeseburger and fries everything cooked fresh including the fries.
Asked what we wanted added and has a great range of sauces as well.
Everything tasted fresh and very good quality, burgers are huge.
Frankies is set on its own in a free gravel car park with some tables and benches next to the sea just at the end of Camber.
Very relaxing and enjoyable lunch.
Its no wonder Frankies get such great reviews, they are definitely justified.

We had lunch from this burger and hotdog place right by the beach. I was starving and looking for junk food, but this place was so much better than that - this was fast food as far as service went, but there was no junk in the food. Decent, high-quality ingredients cooked right in front of us and served in generous portions. Proper sausages and burgers, and apparently “the best cheese and bacon fries my husband has ever had”, all with great service from the lovely staff.

Found this little gem whilst walking the dog in Camber , not just a static food van. There is a great choice of American classics plus their foot long hotdogs are made and imported from Germany . If you are staying in Camber or in the area ,you can order through just eat or If you are ever passing through Frankie’s on the beach is must and I recommend a visit .

We drove in on a blowy and wet day because Frankie’s looked so inviting in the mist. The cabin is large, clean and bright. We were the only ones in the car park and the owner greeted us with welcoming chat about the appalling weather etc. The menu is large and they use quality meats and chicken with fresh salad ingredients each time so we waited with a tea. We had the chicken strips with bbq sauce which was ziggy and delicious and the best bacon with cheese and onions in a long brioche bun with French fries . Would highly recommend and we will be back.

After having visited Broomhill Sands a couple of times and Frankies on the Beach was closed, today, after a lovely long beach walk with the dogs, I found them open, I was spoilt for choice and ended up opting for a Lincolnshire Sausage with onion & bacon and it was bloomin lovely, served in a brioche hot dog roll.
Definitely well worth stopping off at (especially as, unlike Camber down the road, the car park is currently free!).
Its clear that some effort has gone into ensuring the ingredients are good quality, and something that tasty enjoyed with bracing sea air is one of life's simple pleasures.

Have been going since last October, even in the roughest of weather we have in joyed absolutely incredible taste bud heavenly food. Being lucky enough to only live 25 minutes down the road we have now made it a regular Sunday lunchtime venue. Couldn’t highly recommend enough.
