About
The Bell Inn is the quintessential village pub. And now for the first time in nearly a century it is a true Inn once more. It is in the heart of the village in so many ways, from serving local foods and ales to our regulars,to catering for weddings, presentation evenings, skittles nights, then there are our many annual events from beer festival, sports days, Santa's visit and fireworks night. However the thing we are most proud of is our food and the service that goes with it. We have two excellent chefs who produce some of the finest food you will eat in the county and all this is at extremely good value for money with wonderful service in a most relaxing atmosphere.Don't miss out try us soon, and look out for our "Pensioners Perks" or our "Early Diners Special"and now you can stay in one of our beautiful appointed rooms

Excellent food, attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. What more could you want? I was one of a group of four people one of whom is a vegetarian. There was plenty on the menu to suit her and once the waitress knew her dietary requirements she was also offered a selection of other dishes that could be adapted to her tastes. I chose the Casear salad for myself which was delicious and very filling (loads of chicken). The serving staff were attentive without being pushy and the whole evening felt very relaxed. I will definitely be visiting again.

Just got back from a one night stay at the Bell Inn Broadheath and can't rate it highly enough. Lovely tastefully decorated room with a really cosy restaurant and bar area, reassuringly everywhere was very clean. A relaxing atmosphere was created by an open fire and beautifull Christmas decorations throughout. The food was delicious with plenty of choice, amply served together with a wide selection of beers, wines and spirit, the prossecco a must. The staff were all efficient and friendly a really great team. Needless to say we will definitely be planning another visit soon.

Like many others I am just starting to venture out and was a little apprehensive about eating out but decided that I would go for it. I needn't have worried as the owners and staff are doing all that is possible to minimise the risk. The number of tables has been reduced to give plenty of space, hand sanitiser is in plentiful supply and I saw surfaces and door handles being wiped down throughout the evening. But more importantly the food was delicious! And tasty butter chicken followed by a belgian waffle and no washing up for the first time in months. Bliss!

We were delighted that a favourite pub of ours has come out of lockdown with flying colours. We took advantage of the eat out to help out and found we could eat in or out in good space. Both opted for the £14.95 steak and both enjoyed. Service was excellent and efficient. The only negative for us was that the steak was served on a bread board...and the chips in a bucket... Some might like that but we didn't. They were very happy to provide a plate having said that. Bread boards are undoubtedly harder to keep clean than plates, which is very important at this time. Thanks to all at The Bell.

We had visited The Bell regularly back in the early noughties but hadn't been since it had been refurbed in 2008. As a group of 4 friends, we have regularly stayed at AN. Other establishment in Lower Broadheath. Not any more, we won't! From check-in to check-out, it was a lovely stay. Lots of parking. The rooms, although accessed by a very steep flight of stairs (thank goodness for the robust handrail!), were large, very clean and comfortable. Usual tea/coffee tray with biscuits. There was a small fridge hidden in the wardrobe (which we were told about when shown up to the room) which had fresh milk and bottled water within. The bathroom was spotless with lovely pristine white, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The bed was so comfy, I didn't want to get get of it. The pillows were too soft for me as I'm a side sleeper, but one size can't fit all. We hadn't booked a table for a meal (sadly, as the food smelt and looked delicious), but we had a couple of drinks from the well stocked bar before moving onto the 'Other' establishment for dinner. We really wished we had stayed for dinner at The Bell... Breakfast was spot on, both mornings. There are juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit and cereals on the bar. The waiting staff take your order for tea/coffee, hot meal and toast. There aren't any sauces on the table, so you have to ask, but you don't wait long. Checkout is easy; pop to the bar and pay. There is a tiny community shop with a post office in a portacabin in the corner of the car park. Absolutely brilliant! It's incredibly very well stocked, manned by community volunteers and the perfect place to pick up a newspaper to read by the pub's log fire with a pint. We will definitely be back.

We visited the pub twice before lock down at Christmas and had 2 great meals with friendly service in a lovely pub. I had cod and chips first time and slow cooked ribs next, both were excellent and delicious, other family members had same and other items off the menu and none of us were disappointed. Not forgetting some lovely beers, it cheered us up during this sad time.

Went here with my wife the other day for lunch. We opted to have started and then share a ploughman's platter (which was an expensive starter) on top. I had the soup to start with and she had the calamari. When the ploughman's care it was served with a couple of rolls, ham, cheese, pickles etc and was easy sufficient for us on top of the starters. With a couple of drinks thrown in it was just over £30 for the lot too. Well worth the money. I will be visiting again

Visited the Bell with friends yesterday after a long dog walk. The plan was to have a couple of drinks and food. Upon arrival we were told that the kitchen was about to close, however all the staff were really accommodating, and kept the chef there so we could eat - great customer service!! There were 8 of us, and all the meals were excellent, as were the drinks. And full credit for the staff for staying late so we could eat. Top place!!!

Very very disappointed we booked after looking at menu on line we were all decided on what we wanted which was the set menu. On getting to restaurant it was very quiet only two other tables being used for dining, after looking at menu found out the meal deal is no longer available they had not updated website. Very limited option for food . We were a party of four out celebrating some really good news and yet the food spoilt our evening. We ordered 2 burgers and chips and a nacho and bean chilli dish and a chorizo starter and some truffle fries for one of us as nothing else appealing on menu. One of the burgers was like mush on a plate didn't hold together, the other was held together by cheese, when complained that couldn't eat it they offered to give him a free pudding which we declined and had burger taken off the bill. The bean chilli nachos was mostly a dish of nachos with cheese on a more salsa and guacamole and a small bit of bean chilli. The starter had raw chorizo not cooked. We then had puddings and we had 2 lemon Eton mess which was just meringue on a plate with a blob of cream and few blobs round plate with lemon curd, not what we would call a Eton mess, one was the Pimm's trifle which was obviously bought in as was a approx three inch circle the last was a very small ramekin shallow dish of apple crumble and a small jug of custard. These puds were not worth £7 each. We have been here loads of times but tonight was very disappointing and they need to learn to update web site. The food was not good.

Myself and group of friends came in on Tuesday evening the 3 girls working were so friendly and polite and despite the fact they were clearly rushed off their feet they remained so incredibly attentive to all the tables around us during our meal! We often eat out as a group and we haven’t received service like this anywhere in Worcester for a very long time. The waitress who took our food order knew the menu inside out and made some great recommendations to us (I had the bell classic and it was fantastic). It was a real pleasure to talk to all 3 of the girls they really made our night! We will 100% be recommending the Bell to our friends and will 100% be returning again!

We love visiting this lovely, relaxed pub. The menu varies from season to season and the food is always great quality and incredible value - arriving in generous portions. The staff are always friendly, efficient and helpful. It has become one of our regular “go to “ places. What more is there to say !

I went to the Bell with a friend on the 2nd of November to celebrate her birthday before lockdown and we had a lovely time. The bell is a beautiful pub nesseled into broadheath. The food we were severed was excellent and we can both highly recommend the fillet steak and the seafood tagilatelle. The Baileys cheesecake we also had was another level of delicous. We had an absolutely lovely time. All the staff were smiling under their masks which was easy to see. If you have not visited the Bell I highly recommend it; especially a cosy fireside table.

Arrived and were welcomed by friendly staff, shown to our rooms and the place was clean and tidy. Our room was spacious, teas, coffees, hot chocolate in a stand on the dresser which could be refilled at any time, fresh milk in our small fridge with bottled water. The food was fab, plenty on the plate and cooked, presented to an excellent standard. Can I just say one person in our part is GF and diary free and the staff provided plenty of options and nothing was too much trouble. We didnt have that experience at other eateries we visited! Location was perfect for us visiting friends and National trusts. I have to say all the staff seemed happy in their work and very helpful. It was nice to see. Would stay again and would recommend.

I had been told this was a good place to visit. By chance we ended up passing near to The Bell. I was happy to give it a try when my partner suggested lunch might be a good idea. We had Lily our dog with us. I asked if they could manage a couple of people for lunch with a well behaved dog under the table. We were made very welcome. The lunch menu was limited and had two courses for £12.95. My partner chose a main course of beetroot risotto and apple crumble to follow. I tasted both and they were delicious. I had a bigger problem choosing a dish. No need to moan about my preferences here. However, I ordered a side salad and a portion of chips. The side salad consisted of tired salad leaves and the chips were cool. There is nothing better than a piping hot chip! Mine were not hot at all just about warm. The Bell has a garden area and an outside space which is covered. It is good for families. There are things to entertain children. This pub has a lot going for it and will please a great many people. Its just that the vegetarian options were very limited and cool chips mean I will not rush back in a hurry. A few more vegetarian choices would be welcome.

This is an idyllic country pub in a great location just 3 miles outside of Worcester town centre. We went there yesterday a party of 4, 2 adults & 2 teenagers. The outdoor garden terrace seating looks over the beer garden & play area which is great for a families with small children The menu is quite varied & there was something to suit all I had the Beetroot filafel starter which was delicious & a steak main which was perfectly cooked. The staff were very friendly & the service was great, will definitely be going back
