Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went for a meal on a Rod Stewart tribute night on a really busy evening we had our meal that was very nice and began to enjoy the show as I said earlier it was very busy and there were plenty of staff working...even though the bar was packed we got served fairly quickly the only problem was that the landlady was very disrespectful to her customers who had waited patiently to be served she was shouting at people without reason they are the same people that keep you in business shame that she should be so rude on such a lovely evening Rod Stewart was excellent well done Ged BoltonMore

A lovely early evening meal, staff really friendly and attentive. Ordered fish & chips, steak, Cajun chicken & sea bass, food came quickly (but not too quickly!) all hot & delicious. Also ordered lotus cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding & ice cream, good portions but not...over facing. Thank you Lisa and team, we will definitely be back!More

The venue provided a venue for a works reunion. A few of us met up for lunch first and it was delicious. Would happily return just to eat. From 2 p.m. until late we had the use of a private area for our get together....It was a pleasant, clean and separate area which was perfect made all the better by the member of staff allocated to "our" bar. Luke provided that extra special element to the event. He remained calm and pleasant whilst dealing with a large number of us, taking particular care of the elderly and infirm. The staff as a whole were great and I thank each and everyone of them for their efforts. The only complaint? Satellite nav sent people the long way round to the venue !!!More

5 of us had lunch here on Wed & then moved on to their function room for a work reunion … The food was fabulous big portions & very tasty - we all had different things & all had clean plates ! The function room...was perfect for us - it has it’s own bar & a fabulous barman called Luke who made sure we had everything we needed - sadly Like is moving on ( I think he said today was going to be his last day at LF- so we wish him well in his new job ) The function room is the perfect venue for a gathering such as a christening /funeral /birthday party or a reunion like ours . We would definitely book again both for food & the function room ( Infact next year maybe - if they will have us back !) So a big thank you to the chef the manageress the bar staff & especially LukeMore

Another great night at the Lancashire Fold, we booked in advance and was seated near the fire which was absolutely wonderful, especially with the snow outside. We had starters, main and pudding and we were not disappointed 😁. The choice of food was excellent but...couldn’t decide over Salt and Pepper Chicken Fries or Duck Spring rolls with dip, so we shared all the starters on the table, it was all perfect. First time of ordering the Cheese and Onion Pie, well it won’t be the last, although the slice was that big I just couldn’t finish it, had to leave room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Honeycomb Ice Cream. The welcome from Lisa and her team is always warm and friendly and the food is just the icing on the cake. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻More

We attended the Folds kids Christmas party and honestly it was the best we have ever been to - every single thing was thought of and the kids had a fantastic time and the parents … it included food , entertainment , Father & Mother...Christmas , games , personalised gift for each child and lots of photo opportunities for each child with Father Christmas - it was just perfect and we would definitely recommend to anyone - Heather, Lisa & all the staff were hands on and there was not enough they could do to keep the kids entertained - extremely impressed thank you allMore

Stopped by without having pre-booked a table. Pub was ultra busy due to football being on so the tvs were showing the match.
