We’ve visited this place in the past and were unpleasantly surprised that the menu has changed so much that we didn’t like anything we ordered. It’s been modernized so much that the foods have become unrecognizable. The asparagus soup had 4 pieces of asparagus max...5cm long and the soup was sweet. The two tastes between the broth and the asparagus didn’t match. The broth was sweet like it was made of dairy and the asparagus was salty. The fish soup had no fish. Why is it called a fish soup I don’t understand. Moreover, the eater was supposed to construct his own soup: the fish broth was brought with 4 side dishes that were of unidentifiable source. The snails were OK. Not too bad, but not good enough for a place like this. Nothing special. Frog legs were dry-ish and oily. And they lacked charm. We got the ones with garlic. Maybe the other ones would’ve been better. They have 2 kinds there. The coffee was lukewarm. We won’t be visiting this place anytime soon.More

Never disappoints. The mint sorbert is heavenly. After all the food I didn't feel like a whole dessert, but asked if I could just have the mint sorbet, that I lividly stayed in my memory as being outstanding. And they happily obliged and served me...one scoop of mint sorbet with whipped cream and some sugar decoration and it did not disappoint and was as delicious as I recalled. Also the seared goose liver melts in your mouth. If I lived closer and could visit this restaurant more frequently, I would. Even so I have to fly in from Boston, this was the 2nd time this year I managed to stop by. Highly recommend.More

Had a great dinner in a great setting here. First of all the waiter was very friendly and equally at ease im French, German and English. We decided to have dinner on the terrace, which was on a very quiet side street, very relaxed with...birds singing all the time and the noise of the little river in the background. I had local asparagus, as it's asparagus time. They where very fresh and served with 2 sauces and 2 types of ham. My wife had the traditional Elsacer flammkuche with local Münster cheese, a real treat. The place is not the cheapest, but you get quality and good local food in an excellent setting. Perfect for a romantic evening or a nice sitdown with friends.More

I love all their goose liver dishes. The mussels...au provinciall are divine. The tarte de flambe delicious. Highly recommend this family run business. Love the ambience and the waiters and the food. Great place. Wish I could go there more often!More

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly stuff! On weekends, always make a reservation and be aware of the opening hours. Take your time and enjoy their delicious meals and be sure to try their specialities (“terroir”). Their tartes flambées are magnifique!

This restaurant offers great french cuisine. It is located in a small town but is worth a visit. Staff is friendly. The terrace is not very inspiring but there is definitely enough room.

As always with good restaurants, I hesitate to share this info. We arrived late on Palm Sunday, a BIG no-no. Too many Baustelle! (Must plan for this next time.) I wish I lived in Lauterbourg so I could eat there every day. The Bouchee a...la Reine was superb. Königspastete X 4 ! The Canard a l'orange looked good too. After the Entrecote in pinot noir sauce, I was too stuffed for the cheese plate. We were too early for the Torte de Rhubarb. Must go back in a couple months, just for that. INCROYABLE! The house wine by the liter, cotes du Rhone, is excellent and affordable. Au bon gout!More
