A concept place within a cluster of buildings. The art is ..uhh.. different. The 15 course degustacion was a twist on Philippine ingredients & staples. It had been thought out-- that's for sure. A for effort, but the food itself is an overall C+ if you've been to quite a few of these things. We didn't do the wine pairings.... More

As of today, I have written 217 TripAdvisor reviews, thereof 188 reviews on restaurants, from simple joints to Michelin-starred temples. In all these reviews, I have tried to focus on the food and the presentation thereof. This time I have to focus on the chef, which is a pity actually. But let's start from the beginning, which was a tasty... More

A dining adventure that everyone should experience. The kitchen is visible to all the tables in this intimate dining room. Chefs come out and explain each entree. The presentation is beautiful and chefs truly give you the feeling that love what they are creating. A must if you visit Manila, it is worth all the hassle to arrive at this... More

The place, the ambiance, the food, it all coincide with each other. And though we dined late, the service, the food, and the wine were excellent. We'll surely go back there on our next trip to the Philippines

I have very mixed emotions about giving an average review since I can totally see what they are going for, and there was a lot of high points, but just felt they missed the mark. Based on the reviews I was expecting an experience like DOM chef Alex Atala but with a Filipino direction. First, I am a big fan... More

Had the privilege of attending a collaboration dinner between Chef Chele and Chef Michel Portos held last month and Gallery Vask did not disappoint. Food was spectacular from start to finish; signatures that include the ‘sardine’, served on top of purple rice crackers (ingenious), ‘tiraditos’ (rightfully piquant), and the seemingly bistek-inspired ‘sour ribs’ (unbelievably tender)—as well as the newer ‘yam... Innovation is the name of the game. Gallery Vask is a wonderful experience you should every Filipino should try at least once because it is very modern yet stays true to our roots. The dish yam yam seems to be enjoying the ube trend these days. The other suman is like modern suman at manga where stricky rice comes in... More

Vask was recommended by a work colleague, as a must whilst visiting Manila! I dined with a group of friends, which was the best way to enjoy the restaurant. Each dish was delicious, mixed with a great ambience - will definitely be back!

I always make a point to visit Vask during every trip to Manila. The restaurant is at the forefront of modern Philippine cuisine and never ceases to amaze. The menu, the service, the space is a complete feast for the senses.
