We were looking at places to eat in the Hastings area and the Two Sawyers was well-recommended. The food lived up to its reputation, I had the excellent fish platter (the smaller one) and there was more than enough. The different things on the platter...More

Chef really knew about food. We were really well treated by all of staff. Menu was varied and interesting. The pub/restaurant very old but beautifully atmospheric, clean and tidy.

Lovely setting for a pub with nice food and pleasant staff. Food went down well with the group and would recommend this place as a good cycling stop.

Called in for a drink and asked if any tables available. Seated within a few minutes. Both the calamari and the mussels were superb. 2 Beef and 2 Lamb as mains were excellent. No room for puds . Highly recommended.

It's not particularly family friendly in that it's very cramped and there's nothing for them to do but they do have high chairs and a kids menu
