We’ve been here a couple of times for the carvery on a Sunday and have never been disappointed. The meats are beautifully cooked and the veg is just lovely, with a huge selection. The staff are really friendly and know their stuff (the lady serving...More

My friend had this place highly recommended to her, so we thought we would give it a try. We booked in advance and our table was in the conservatory which was a little drafty. The place had a nice ambience with a log fire in...More

I had seen many adverts on Facebook so thought I would give the Sunday lunch carvery a try. I had booked the 2 - 4pm slot. When we arrived it was very packed. When we were shown to our table it had been squeezed in...More

Met up with friends for supper. Pub practically empty but service still a bit slow. Food was good and hot. Large portions which for pensioners a bit too much. Perhaps shouldn’t complain about that. Would go again. Husband particularly enjoyed pudding.

We are all a bit confused about this firstly we didn't run out of carvery at 4pm we served 43 carveries from 4-7pm, secondly we don't have peas on the carvery....or new potatoes?? As you can see it's rare for someone not enjoy our Carvery...More

Cracking food, friendly staff and a nice building. Easily one of the better local places to go for a drink and something to eat. Just make sure you book a table well in advance if it's a weekend.
