Terrible service with really rude staff, still angered by the treatment I received on my visit. The overly zealous bar staff seem to think that it's acceptable to talk down to customers without provocation.

Recent reviews paint an accurate picture, it really is a shame that pubs of this ilk appear to rely on the price of their beers to attract a certain customer, rather than work at pubbing. Swift visit with friends - Alas, after half of our drinks we left to find a proper pub.

Popped in for a quick drink as we do regularly, because it's good value up to a point. Once again had to ask for a clean glass for the wifes Chardonay, barman couldn't find one in the rack, so went out back and hand washed one. (This has been an ongoing problem for 12 months) and allways the dishwasher is... More

Whoever designs the layout of this establishment should talk to the real regulars, recently they decided to move 2 tables and replace it with a fruit machine consequently splitting up a large regular group who are now trying to source alternative pubs who encourage regulars to meet up with their friends, totally disgusted with the lack of respect shown to... As a frequent diner at the Glass Maker I wasn't at all surprised at the mixed reviews on TripAdviser. Nor am I surprised that they are getting increasingly worse. There is no doubt that Tim's management team have produced a great range of incredibly priced food & drink at reasonable levels of quality. Unfortunately this is let down by the... More

Not as good a breakfast as usual. Possibly changed their sausages. Also, how can bacon be made so bad. It's like cardboard, all the time.

Being local, I've had regular visits to the local 'spoons', but I have to say it's looking tired and in need of an atmospheric boost in light of strong local competition on offer in the surrounding area. Whilst always offering great value for money, I do wonder if investment in the chains Hotel side of things is leading to lack... More

Visited this pub previously and always enjoyed it. A couple of years down the road and have to say was shocked and saddened to see it has gone downhill. Doesn't look like a cleaner has been in for some time. Looks nothing like the pictures on the web. Everything was dirty, tables looked like they had just had food wiped... More

I have been three times and each time has been worse than the last. The first time my wife ordered a curry which the menu said comes with nan. No nan. When we asked the waiter he simply shrugged and said they don't have any. Isn't it illegal to charge for something and then not deliver? Next time I ordered... More
