Bar & waiting staff were patient and very helpful and when the meals arrived we were very impressed by the size of the portions. It was quite busy considering it was a Monday evening which tells you... More

Not local to the area but chanced upon this place after a family day out. We had fantastic pies - crisp shortcrust pastry filled to the brim with tasty fillings all served with proper mash and perfectly cooked tasty vegetables. Clean plates all round, despite the very generous portions. Great looking menu which we hope to work our way through.... More

My partner and I eat here on a fairly regular basis on a Saturday or Sunday Today the pub was quiet and we got a seat easily for a change, without booking. I ordered the turkey pie with white wine sauce This arrived after about 20 mins The pastry was black in places and the white wine sauce very watery... More

This place is where to be for traditional, hearty platefuls of good value for money fresh, delicious food. Luckily they do light bites for greedy piggies like me. Dog was welcome as well as my request for gluten free options. Excellent staff offer a warm welcome.

Called in for a quick business lunch with 2 colleagues. It was a bit quitter than normal, but we sit down a 2pm to eat. Again, pleasant staff and didn't wait too long before the food came out together. The food of choice was the Beef Stroganoff (very tender pieces of beef) plenty on the dish although I did have... After arriving into Nailsea at midday and spending the afternoon geocaching, we finished up in time for tea. My boyfriend used Google and I used tripadvisor to find an excellent place to eat and this came up almost instantly on both of our searches. After messaging a friend who is out here often he also suggested here. We walked up... More
