Can't fault the service or the taste of the food on offer, just don't order the sirloin steak as it took way to long to arrive and it wasn't great. They forgot to inform us that if you order the steak it takes longer. Prices were too overpriced for some items in the menu or for what it is. We had a birthday dinner organised and were charged $2.50 per plate for cutting the cake.

The food was fantastic, without doubt. My beef carpaccio was really flavoursome and well presented as was the scrumptious porchetta. My wife really enjoyed the mushroom pici pasta and our friends were also impressed. Exceptional high quality cooking. The beer and wine lists were great. If you want some excellent food with the lovely marina views and ambiance, this is place to go... HOWEVER a big let down was the service. ???? we arrived at our 5.45pm booking, seated after 5 minutes bout our order not taken until 6.15pm... they didn’t have enough menu’s! So by the time starters and mains had been served and finished it was just about 7.30pm, our time to “leave” with a grumpy queue forming of the next sitting. A shame because we were ready to spend a good $70 or more on desserts etc and therefore had to finish our evening elsewhere!

We arrived on a Saturday evening without a booking for 4 persons, they quickly found us a table overlooking the marina was a great location. Pizzas were excellent full of flavour. Only criticism was wines for a glass were expensive and I did not see the required measure line on glass, seemed very low in the glass.

I know restaurants are doing it tough at the moment hence don't want to be too harsh. The service was good , we ordered the pizza on special board as entre the Margarita with artichoke. This has no taste, I ordered the squid ink pasta again no taste , the seafood had no taste maybe frozen ? . My wife had snapper which was tasty . My point is that if you charge considerable prices you need to make sure you're produce is the best it can be and your chefs can honor them. Cheers Gary

Having lived in the area for close to 30 years once able to dine out again this was my first choice and better than ever. When you have not dined out for months you pick your favorites that you have missed the most. We had the Snapper , Seafood Risotto and then ordered wood fired pizza to takeaway when we finished. Unabtrusive service Great atmosphere.food and location . Very pleased and perfect start to the new World HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Most restaurants, particularly in this climate (recovering economy) are extremely vigilant & attentive with their customers. Not to mention, most verbal regarding the lack of clientele due the COVID influence. Majority attempt to cater for every opportunity to satisfy and to provide an experience that is ‘complete’ in an attempt to draw back their patronage and reduce their need for advertising in competitive circumstances. This experience was so very discouraging in a world class tourist (local & international) region. The setting was ‘idyllic’ and the food only average, for the ‘descriptions on offer and the associated tariff’. What was so very disappointing and will not see us return nor provide a desirable recommendation was the poor focus on being aware that there were needs to be met. There was no lack of resources to serve, (numerous wait staff) considering the number of patrons. We had planned to have dessert, coffee & digestives but the experience damaged the enthusiasm & we retired early, very disenchanted.

I booked a table for 8 to take family and friends for a special night to celebrate New Year's Eve. The restaurant offered a special menu costing $150 (payable in advance), with 2 choices of Entree and Main. We arrived on time and all started well, although there was a long wait before we were served the Entree. My wife and I chose Roasted Field Mushrooms served with Truffle Risotto. However this proved to be a single flat disc resembling (and of the consistency of) cardboard, topped with a crunchy crumble. It had obviously been vastly overcooked so I complained and the waiter said he would replace it. However the manager then told me that they were all the same. He didn't know what to do so I eventually asked for the alternative Entree, calamari. It must have taken them at least 20 minutes to serve it followed by an interminable wait for the main course, which was eventually served at about 9:30pm, two hours after we arrived. Most of us chose the Morton Bay Bugs on a Spinach, Pork and Fennel Risotto, Capsicum Coulis. This was a single small bug split down the middle, overcooked and served on a pile of stodge like thick porridge. The dessert was OK but service was so slow that we weren't finished until 10:30pm, three hours after arriving. By that time most of the other customers had left, several abandoning their meals. We complained to the manager that the quality and service were appalling for a charge of $150 per person. We refused to pay the additional $150 he wanted to charge us for two bottles of wine. Previous reviews up to August were very good, but most since then are bad. I can only assume that there has been a change of management.

Hubby and I came for lunch. $71.50 for linguini marinara, vegetable lasagna and a bottle of mineral water. The linguini was tasty but the lasagna was bland and dry - like 2 day old reheated leftovers. The napoli sauce was a smear on the plate like a garnish offered some small relief but wasn’t enough. I did ask for more sauce which was happily provided but took time, without it the lasagna was almost inedible. The staff appeared bored - no smiles or pleasantries despite the place being very quiet. We won’t return and would not recommended it to friends or family based on our experience.

Family meal with 3 adults & two kids aged 6 & 7. Only had pizzas. Kids enjoyed their pizzas but adult pizzas were soggy, could not be picked up so had to be eaten with knife & fork. The tomato base was quite watery & bland. Claimed to have “wild mushrooms” on top but clearly they were button mushrooms with some just thrown on top & not even cut up! Sparse on cheese. Disappointing given the price for the pizzas. Good location though.

Great food and quick service. The restaurant is in a beautiful location and everyone’s meal was delicious. I have only 2 gripes 1. Charging $5 extra for gf seems a bit unfair considering for coeliacs this isn’t a choice. 2. Being asked for a tip when I paid made me feel a little uncomfortable I’m happy to tip where it’s warranted but being asked to is a bit rich in my view. Overall though we had a great meal, the pizza oven was awesome and it was nice to be able to watch the meal being cooked

Whilst visiting the Noosa Marina we decided to have lunch. A quick look around at menu’s and we decided on Noosa Italian- and weren’t we happy we did as this is a little gem. We could tell it was authentic as a majority of guests were of Italian background. The menu covered all aspects of ‘Italian culture but we decided on pizza as the smelt so good and we could watch the chef making them. When they arrived they were not one of the types of pizza that are loaded up in fillings and hav no flavour these were lightly covered in toppings but had so much flavour wi a very thin crust - just to die for. A great meal with great service by a lovely young lady who knew how to treat diners.

We ate here last night. It is very popular so you need to book. Service is excellent. Our waitress knew food and knew wine. Such a lovely setting. Waiting for dinner we watched little ferry come in. There is now a parking company operating car park but you get 3 hours free. Easier than parking at Noosa.

We arrived on speck yesterday evening, our son was over from London and we got a table for three. The food all three of us ordered was absolutely delicious, could not fault it. The waitress was lovely and so was the setting. We were delighted that our son had such a wonderful experience before he returns home. We will definitely be back, what a gem.

We have visited Noosa Italian before, but this one was our first time after they renovated the Restaurant, which now looks absolutely fantastic. We had a focaccia special with buffalo mozzarella as an entree, and squid ink tagliolini and truffle risotto to follow. All the three dishes were well presented and very tasty. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. The wine list now offers a bigger variety of wines: we had a bottle of a fabulous Chianti Riserva - highly recommended. Ciao and see you next time!

I took my visiting family to the Italian on the Marina after previous positive experiences - I now realise with the previous owners. They were all looking forward to a nice Italian meal. The entrees were paltry for the price resulting in a complaint to management. To give them their due, they took them off the bill. The pizzas were fine but my main of seafood tagliarini was tasteless with a few scattered prawns and a couple of bits of calamari. Having recommended the place, I was embarrassed and certainly will not be taking visitors there again.
