I went there with my family yesterday we didn’t get bad service because we were one of two families there. We sat on a bed which was nice but it looked tired and I felt like the upholstery needed deep cleaning. We had the mixed grill. Definitely average and I’ve had much better Persian food elsewhere. I did enjoy the ribs though. No sauces were offered with the food and when asked for chilli sauce she brought me siracha? Yes it’s chilli sauce however I’m used to freshly made sauces at restaurants makes a huge difference. The freshly pressed juices weren’t great. The plates were not cleaned to a high standard. The naan was nice and that’s about it. I definitely think this restaurant has potential but the owners are stuck in a time warp. I don’t think I’ll be going back unless it’s had a revamp and the food quality improves.

Kabab koubideh was very dry and unpleasant. Kabab koubideh is a very traditional kabab and you expect from a Persian restaurant to know the recipe and use good ingredients to make it. today's koubideh was very low-quality comparing its price to other persian restaurants.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is mythical with all the bursting colours of their decor.
Food portions were generous, you can easily share one dish between 2-3 people. Lamb dishes were great, tender and tasty. The chicken however were quite dry and bland.
Service was pretty hit and miss. The staff were friendly but they keep forgetting to bring stuff we’ve ordered.

Had to write this review because of another posted in May, as I have no idea what they're talking about: The koobideh is bloomin' tender and melt in your mouth delicous! The Kashk Bademjan is my favourite dish and it's exquisite here. The food is overall exceptional, and my extended Iranian family unanimously think this is the best Iranian food they've found in London. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating, the service is always prompt and it's beautifully decked-out. Highly recommend.

Just tried to have lunch here. It took them over 45 minutes to bring me my starter, which was a portion of houmus! I advised them that I had a meeting to go to so would have to take my main way with me.....they offered no apology and charged me full price for the food that I didn't even have time to eat. Never go back....

and you agreed for that and you seat in with that knowledge

I was hugely disappointed with my experience with this restaurant. I collected a large takeaway order with 5 mains, and to my shock the food was completely burnt to a crisp and was completely black. We reached out to the restaurant and got no response. I’m so appalled by the lack of respect, communication and customer support alongside the horrible quality of food. Such a shame!

Four stars for the food. Despite the printed menu (always a warning that not all the ingredients are fresh) the traditional Persian dishes were well cooked and - frankly - delicious. I specially enjoyed the hot aubergine entree, Kashk Bademjan. Businesslike management, tolerable decor. Shipshape lounge. Low Persian tables optional.

Customer service was very bad , didn’t feel welcomed into the restaurant and staff very very rude to us as we had children and made us feel uncomfortable by their behaviour.
They have a little sitting space downstairs for smoking Shisha and they allow children down there which is obviously not legal.
Food is pretty average.
When we told them about the rude staff they said don’t come back then .
So NO we don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I've been before and they must have kept my details because they sent me a message on my 'phone to let me know that they had a great deal going on. I went there and the food had the same extremely generous portion sizes as ever! It was completely delicious and very healthy.
They had a great deal of choice for vegetarians.
The price was even more reasonable than normal as they had that special discount going!
I love the Iranian interior décor - beautufully done!
The members of staff I spoke to were so polite and helpful. Te woman who handed me my lovely food waited while I got my stuff together to say "goodbye" to me as I left - so polite!
I am now feeling rather full...
I'd recommend that place to anyone.

We were there last night which was our new year’s night, I wasn’t happy with the service at all, I’ve had a good experience first time two months ago that’s why we went back.
They didn’t seemed to be bothered much, not very welcoming, chicken was a bit dry and worse of all they rushed to get rid of us as they were closing 11pm surprisingly on our new year’s night.
I’m not very keen to go back again

Went to this place with friends and it wasn't great. The lady at the front didn't make us feel welcome. She was far from welcoming. They have regular tables and cool Iranian beds to sit on, but that's about the only cool thing. Service was so-so. The starters were good - fresh and tasty, setting a high bar that the rest of our meal sadly couldn't meet. So the main dishes? Meh. Some tasted like they just zapped them in the microwave. Definitely skip the Loobia Polo and Kabab Barg.
Seems like we're not the only ones who noticed the staff could be friendlier and professional. They try to act nice until you complain - then they look at you like you did something terrible. Feels like the people running the place don't really care or don't bother to check the reviews.

A lovely experience to enjoy Persian cooking
Beautiful tender lamb in a rich sauce with kidney beans all cooked down
Beautiful tender chicken with Persian rice
Very nice yoghurt with finely chopped shallots to start with. Very nice
Service was marvellous. Great small piece of baklava to finish with
Amazing value. £36 total bill !!!
No alcohol licence so bring your own. Nice Amarone !!
This is amazing value for excellent food.
We had to have “doggie bags” there was so much fois!!

The minced lamb kabab quality was not good.
Starter" Kashk Bademjan" - not sufficient Kashk and fried peppermint o top.
Momtaz 1 portion was good.
Dizi's quality was very poor and not recommended. Mostly, tomato paste and some beans. It's way far from a dizi food.

Cheap, rubbish and extremely rude and arrogant owner and manager. Food arrived nearly 1 hour late. Cold and tasteless. Unprofessional customer service. The staff including the owner and manager makes you feel so uncomfortable there. You can hear them talking bad about you. Try Senator Iranian restaurant in North London. Absolutely amazing food and service,you won't regret it.

Came here for a family birthday meal and it was great. There's an array of seating- tables and chairs and casual family style seating on cushions. There is also a shisha lounge in the back. The pricing is really decent. The food was really nice. Great staff.
