Yet again, the manger walked through the restaurant taking a video of all customers on his personal mobile phone. Why? There was no notice saying this would happen. Hot, airless, cramped, tables too close together. However, Delicious food, lovely waitress.

Food (tarama, lamb, aubergines) and wine were excellent. It's a shame that the service was chaotic and amateurish. (A different waiter/waitress every 15 mins). One of us waited 30 mins for a coke!!! Our food took ages to arrive (we got a mumbled apology).

I like Izgara - I always enjoy the food they serve, and have had good service. However, prices have risen to the point where it starts to lose its appeal. For example, a bottle of still water is £5.95, which is crazy. Chicken and lamb...shish is around £21. While the portion sizes are OK, it still feels too much. As such, I'm not sure I will return, which is a shame. Much of this is the fault of food and wage inflation, but I can't help but feel it's still too much.More

We are 'regulars' as the food is fresh, delicious and wholesome. The place is warm and clean, the staff is helpful, polite, friendly and cheerful. A great place for a cheer up meal. Will continue to eat there and enjoy the whole experience. Irith SassoonMore

Very shocked to see such bad reviews as we could not fault this place one bit, and normally we are very specific with certain things. The food was full of flavour and cooked to perfection, the rice was fluffy and so tasty. We took our...mum for her birthday and was a large group. Everyone was very happy with the full service and we will be returning again.More

Do not get the mixed shesh!!!. It was completely flavourless and cames with a small portion of dry white rice and 5 pieces of lamb and chicken. Salad had no tomatoes and onions. It was my first time trying this restaurant and absolutely my last.More

Returning here after many years. Dissapointed with the food. Bread was hard when usually there is a variety of breads and they are served warm. Chicken was dry and salty. Starter dishes were the best. Service was okay but could have done with a smike....Maybe we just picked a bad night!More

We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch after an appointment nearby. Never been here before. We were so impressed. Lovely restaurant. Loved the chairs. Excellent menu. They also had a lunch menu which was good value but we ordered from the main menu as...we like Iskender. We ordered the Iskender chicken and also lamb. It was just excellent. So nice. The bread they give you for starter is just superb - so soft. Excellent chips and rice and OMG the salad was so good! Drinks were also good. Toilets were clean. Really liked this restaurant. Would love to go back. Probably the best Iskender we’ve had in any Turkish restaurant so far!More
