Old pub with low ceilings makes for a good atmosphere. Some good real ales also. This pub is a favorite of my wife so i'm always on a winner here. The food is way above pub grub and the service too is high standard with...More

My second visit. I booked a table for my husbands birthday treat. He loved it. In my opinion the pub has a good choice of menu. The food was delicious and hot! It was fairly quiet that evening so the service was very prompt. Even...More

We drove passed this amazing building and just had to go inside. Irene was charming and friendly as she not only brought us delicious food but told us about the history of the pub. Will definitely be returning very soon.

Stumbled across this place on trip advisor. Booked it and voila. Great food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Roast Beef is very good, my son had the mini fish and chips...Coming back for the adult portion next time. So fresh and so good 😊

It is not always necessary to book at lunch but we do recommend you book. Mothers Day lunch is not a set menu, it will be our Sunday Lunch menu (subject to changes from the one advertised) Hope this helps
