Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I came here with two friends for Sunday lunch yesterday and had the most wonderful meal with excellent service from Jessie. All three of us had the roast beef which came with all the trimmings. The roast potatoes were particularly good and the beef was...cooked beautifully, a proper Sunday roast. We were lucky enough to sit in the 'snug' area which was brilliant because we're all huge George Michael fans. I'll be back soon!More

Our family party of five went for Sunday lunch on the 3pm booking slot. Our roast dinners were served up on very small plates piled up food and looked very messy and unappetising I can only assume that the normal sized plates were in the...dishwasher. The yorkshire puddings were burnt and hard and looked as if they had been standing for some time. The roast beef dinners only had two small slices of beef and were cold as was the small room that we were placed in .. I did not complain on the day as my son over from the USA for three days was treating us and I did not want to upset him on the day of his return flight. In all a very disappointing family lunch.More

A poor roast and not cheap. I’ve never had rock hard roast potatoes with skin in before . The meat was tough and the gravy was congealed. I was taking sloppy lumps out. Thought we would chance a desert . I couldn’t make out of...it was ice cream or sorbet , it was runny with ice chunks .More
