This was a great great experience. Food was very very good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend going there to anyone who wants a great authentic experience with a nice atmosphere

After running half a marathon as a 14 year old my phone died and I went to cafe Caribbean for my first time and the owner offered me to charge my phone, free food and drink. Even without asking and when I kept on saying...no they still gave me food. When I was eating the food is was the best Caribbean food in London I ate. God bless this business for what they done!More

Loughton is not the first place you would expect to find fine Jamaican food, but this place is great. I had ackee and saltfish, which can go either way (prepare it wrong, and it’s poisonous). It was delicious and fresh (a lot of Jamaican spots...in my area just warm stuff up) and the hot sauce (made on site) was so good I bought a bottle on the way out. Definitely coming back next week.More

I love Jamaican food and have struggled to find anywhere that lives up to their social media hype. This place had great reviews so I thought I would try.... Nice place..Nice ambience...great friendly staff. Waited a while for my order but thought this would mean...food would be outstanding .....the rice and peas was spot on however the stew chicken was a let down...it was warm almost cold and lacked in flavour...covered in a thick gravy....I am 100 percent sure that staff would have warmed it up ..if I would have let them know. .but I dislike my food being passed back and forth. The coleslaw was a dissapointed too...I thought it would be homemade Jamaican style...but it was shop bought and very sloppy. I may have chosen the wrong dish and I feel positive their other options could be banging...which was said from another reviewer. If food is being warmed up ..it needs a temp stick in food to ensure heated thoroughly...if food is being defrosted from frozen then this does impair the flavour. Overall this seems like a great little place and my critisism is strictly constructive.More

My daughter and I decided to pop into Cafe Caribbean for a bit of lunch earlier this week. They have a lunchtime special for £10 a head where you can have a main, a side and a can of soda/water, so we decided to go...for that. We both ordered the Jerk Chicken which came with rice and peas and a little salad, from the sides list we had a vegetable pattie and portion of plantain and for drinks we each had a can of Ting. The portions were hefty, the taste delicious and the value........£20 all in. Bargain. I'd spend the best part of £15-£16 in crappy McDonalds! I'll definitely be going back very soon.More

I ordered a home delivery of this food for me and my husband, using this restaurant for our very first time however our experience was disappointing. My husband Found a long hair like roughly 25 cm plus in his food, so naturally we was put...off the food unable to eat it. The next day I did call the restaurant just to give them the heads of in the hope that another customer didn’t experience this. Wasn’t overly impressed with the managers reaction tbh the usually response as if it’s your hair etc well it wasn’t it came from the restaurant we don’t have European style hair etc I wasn’t asking for my money back I just wanted them to be aware to take more care for future reference, obviously I will never used this restaurant again myself due to this experience and hair in food is not really my vibe.More

I asked if Cafe Caribbean could Cater for 175 people for our Daughters Wedding at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa. The level of service we received from the original meeting to the food tasting session all the way through to the day of the Wedding was...next level professional. The food was amazing, the entire wedding party queued then queued again, to say the food was a success is an understatement. All our friends & family have asked for their contact details as they were completely Bowled over by the taste & quality of the food.
