We hadn’t booked, but we’re able to find a table for four for Sunday lunch. It was excellent, choice of three roasts or veggie roast. Good selection of vegetables including cauliflower cheese. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had a memorable Sunday lunch at The Crown at the weekend. It all was hot, fresh and delicious and tasted home made (definatly not an easy task for most restaurants!) The staff are friendly and efficient and the pub is cosy...More

Nice looking pub, lit fires and ambience could have been good, if not for a local screeching out her life history, she gave me a headache. I scored this on five elements 1) ambience 1 point 2) my food burger, greasy over cooked and in...More

Roast beef, crispy, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, properly cooked roast spuds and parsnips (why do most pubs and restaurants find this such a challenge?!) and 6 (six!) perfectly cooked, deliciously fresh vegetables, including cauliflower cheese. The gravy was so good we...More

Really nice English pub on the green. Very modern, friendly staff, nice food, reasonable priced, very clean with parking. I would defiantly return. Kid friendly.

Son’s girlfriend and daughter’s best friend turned up unexpectedly so decided to go to The Crown for an impromptu early supper. Burgers and ribs both excellent, first rate service and well priced. Added bonus of well kept Harvey’s. The Crown still a solid local pub.

I attended a function yesterday and I have to say the service and quality of the food and drinks was excellent. Credit to your village , staff and owners. I was there for a Funeral to a great friend of mine. You did him proud.

We have taken our 3yr old granddaughter to lunch; there is a good play area outside and well behaved children are always welcome!
