Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On my birthday, I did not want to spend too much $ on bday cake. Coffee rolls are the best alternative and the guests will be happy!

Happened upon this bakery in the CF Richmond Mall - great selection of Chinese baked goods, yummy and reasonably priced. Wish there was one in Toronto!

I bought the coffee roll for my friend once and she LOVE it! So I bought two for both of my previous colleagues today. I know they would enjoy them for sure!

My wife knows maxim's always gives a little more. We are assembling goodie bags for 60 residents and staff at a seniors home and maxim's was the only bakery willing to individually wrap them for us so they deserve honourable mention. Their cocktail buns are...light and fluffy, egg tarts are flavourful and napoleons are flaky!More

So typical now days most food items appear much more inviting than it tastes. We found the BBQ pork buns very flavorful and not over priced

Located downstairs near the Chinese Grocery Store, this bakery is always busy, the staff are continually refilling the product. I was in another town and happened to be carrying some things in one of their bags and someone came up to me and offered to...buy what they thought were the baked goods in the bag, sight unseen. Best recommendation ever I think. Whenever I am in Vancouver I make the trip to this bakery.More

Maxims (same name as the Hong Kong bakeries) sells bakery-style snacks. Better quality than some, but Kam Do (in Richmond) has a much better selection. Good quality, reasonable cost. Makes a great breakfast on the go. Quality is pretty much the same at any of...their locations - this is a pretty safe bet. Tip to non-Canadians: buy 6 or more to save on the extra taxes.More

Nice selection of pastries. Big selection of baked type snack stuff. Hot dog in a roll, chicken bun, all types of small sandwich and bun type snacks. My favorite is a cream filled pastry with coconut shavings on top - excellent! Most snacks are in...the .50 to $1.00 range. Takes care of most snack or dessert needs. Great value, but definitly not for sophisticated palates.More
