Good place for a casual dinner, after a swim or some sightseeing, when you have time. Service is very friendly; it takes a while for the food to come, but that's because everything is made on the spot and the chef seems to do everything by herself. If it takes too long, ample apologies are made any way. Simple, good... More

Excellent place to go for a post swim/paddle board dinner. we had a feast there and it all tasted amazing! will be back to eat some more delicious paneer next time we come to Osoyoos. The staff are so friendly there and it has a real community friendly feel about the place. excellent

My wife and I were in Osoyoos for a week of sun and fun and on the last night, sick of BBQ, I thought Indian would be good. I ordered Goat Curry, rice, a mixed vegetable dish and the meal came with two naan. Wow, was this meal good! I have never had so much goat in a Indian dish... More

Stopped in for dinner this evening. I ordered the Palak Lamb at $12.50, which comes with rice and naan. The dish was quite good, tender lamb cooked with spinach and spices. But be advised, the dish is hot enough to make children cry. You might need to ask them to tone it down a bit (unless you're a real chili-head).... More

There was almost no one in the restaurant and it took well over a half hour for any food to appear. It was not worth the wait.

I am not a big fan of East Indian Restaurants in Canada as the food hardly matches the "real taste" we find back home. I even told Jag- the chef about my this particular peev and man did she surprise me. Best ever Indian food I have ever eaten, made fresh from the scratch- authentic taste, just like home. Tracy... We had been looking forward to a good old-school Indian dinner at this simple restaurant but our kids got the best end of the deal with their pastas. The server was very nice and it seems to be a family-run establishment. Unfortunately the chicken tikka we ordered was way overdone and the curry sauce on the side tasted like diluted... More

We got take out from Ambrosia for dinner a few times during our trip to Osoyoos and were not disappointed. Both Indian and Western dishes we tried were wonderful! We also appreciated that they made food to order for our toddler. My hubby zipped there from our motel and brought it back for a yummy picnic on the beach. We'll... More

We come here for East Indian food every time we're in Osoyoos. Great butter chicken, tandoori, curry. Just the right amount of spice. Staff is lovely.

Ambrosia is definitely a hidden gem in Osoyoos. I do not think it presents or markets itself well, but those that do give it a try will come back because of the great tasting food and excellent service. It looks similar to a diner inside, but the food was well beyond diner quality. I had breakfast at Ambrosia for two... More
