A small local restaurant with atmosphere and delicious food. I had a sashimi plate, which was not only great but very generous in its quantity. Everyone else had various fusion makis roles, and they were all very happy with their choices. For vegetarians, there are some choices. The desserts were also successful. The price was reasonable for the quantity and... More

It was my 40th birthday and my husband and I worked with the restaurant staff to organize the party for 30 people (adults and children). We worked with Danielle who listened to what we wanted and was able to meet all of our requests (allergies, food likes/dislikes, and making a huge Avocado Bowl). We were soooo pleased with the end... Went here with two friends for a girls night. Great little restaurant with nice cozy decor. I had the avocado bowl which was both creative and delicious. It came with a miso soup and a salad. Loved every bite! I'll definitely go back.

I decided to try sushi in Montreal. I was sceptical, but this little restaurant really delivers on freshness, flavours, and attention to details. If you like sushi, don't miss it.

Interesting menu good wine list engaged smiling staff creates an atmosphere of ease and comfort. Had the chefs choice platter and the avocado bowl. Both were outstanding. The bowl will be my choice from now on. Seafood tartar served in an oversized martini glass at first seemed unlikely to sate my appetite but every spoonful was an mmmmm moment and... More

Very fresh and beautiful presentation. Tuna tartar is a must-have. Creative cocktails as well. Con's: They need to hire more staff, but the friendliness of the waiters makes up for... More

Great find in the Point Claire village. Was out with friends and family and decided to try this restaurant out. Didn't disappoint. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, able to answer questions concerning tastes ( seeing as it was our first time for many of us ) we sort of needed some explanations on certain dishes. I was impressed with the food and... More

You easily walk by this restaurant..... it's an old converted house. The sushi is excellent. The lunch specials are amazing. We had the Avocado bowl..... Delicious. Have been for both lunch and supper. Enjoyed both and will be back for sure.

If you are going to Avocado's, you aren't going for the 100+ choices of sushi. Menu is fairly small, simple and fun. The big attraction is the setting in Pointe-Claire village and the lovely house the restaurant sits in. The staff are kind and very efficient, the food is always good and fresh and they have a little outdoor terrace... More

Avocado Sushi du Village is a restaurant located in the heart of the Pointe-Claire village. They serve traditional and fusion sushis and tartars in their bistro, offer take out service and cater for events. The two owners, Dominique St-Laurent and Sylvie Longtin, are long-time friends that dreamed of opening their own business on the lakeshore in Pointe-Claire. Two years ago, Sylvie Longtin, then a sushi chef at Willows, leaves Hudson and together, they set out to create their own restaurant. With its cozy atmosphere and its delicious and innovative cuisine, Avocado rapidly charmed the local population. Many locals have made this friendly little bistro their local eat, enjoying the stunning creations of their sushi chefs. Their Martini and Sushi event on Thursday nights have become extremely popular and reservations are now required if you want to secure a table and enjoy the festive atmosphere! "I am extremely thankful for the quality of staff that we have" commented the owners. ' It would have been impossible for this project to be successful without the customer service and quality of food that is offered...And that is 100% the staff. Sylvie's sushi is simply...Magical, but add to that the knowledge and service that Charlie, Cathy, Chantal, Danielle Sandra and Tess bring to the table. We have a winning team and we are very proud to be part of it!!"
