I called the restaurant beforehand to make a reservation for four people and warned them that I had a cake to bring because it was a birthday. The person on the phone took my reservation and told me no problem to bring a cake. So we showed up and was greeted by this man I assumed was the manager. I... More

I was there with my boyfriend on Saturday night at 5:30, before the rush. The Cesar salad and salmon tartar was great but the service was very inpersonnal. We were served by 4 different unfriendly servers. They took away by boyfriend's plate before I was finished with my meal, wich made me feel like I should hurry up and finish... More

Pizzeria Sofia in the Quartier 10/30 is a wonderful Italian restaurant, specializing, obviously in pizza. The restaurant is a large open space with high ceilings and windows. Seating is comfortable and the restaurant is able to handle large groups as well. The calamari as a starter was excellent, fresh and not over-cooked. I had the salmon with parsnip, asparagus and... I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening and took time to make a reservation beforehand so there are no surprises. Unfortunately, when we arrived (6:30 pm), the place was packed on the floor level and we were sent to the first floor, where we had to wait before the floor manager got a table for us. After one attempt... More

The place is pleasant and the food looks good, but at $16 for the dozen undercooked calamars, it's really expensive. We dropped in for a beer and wanted to share an appetizer, but feel as if we got clipped.

I would have happily eaten here every night for my 2 week stay if it was a bit closer to the hotel. Every meal i had was delicious, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and i loved the informal atmosphere. A truly fantastic place.

I was expecting a fake Italian restaurant with high prices, I got the complete opposite. The pizza is great, many choices out of the ordinary. We were over 20 and the service was great, no one waited while watching others eat. I'm not crazy about Quartier dix30 but this is a place worth going to. The only weird thing is... More
