Our friends consider Woolsey Creek to be the best restaurant in Revelstoke. I think I prefer Kawakuba, but Woolsey is very good. The dining room is rustic, but comfortable. Food is generally very good. Fish seemed to be overcooked and not great, but the duck, chicken and curry dishes were all very good. Definitely a good spot.

This pseudo fine dining room will take you back. Soft shoed waitresses floating through the dining room with locks in tow. The kitchen is of finest quality as only quality dishes are severed. Their (charcuterie),mixed appy platter and a Revelstoke version of Jambalaya was delicious! Make a reservation.

The service was first class, the food was excellent and the restaurant has options on the menu for all tastes. A little gem for dining in Revelstoke.

The emphasis here is on locally sourced food and good, simple preparations. The roasted tomato and basil soup I had was comforting and delicious; the halibut source from the Haida Gwaii (served with squash risotto) was absolutely incredible. The wine list, from mostly BC wineries, is extensive and excellent. Pleasant, relaxed service. Definitely worth a stop for a higher-end meal... More

We are on our honeymoon road trip from Seattle to Cour d'alene, Fernie, Banff, Revelstoke and back home. To say the least, we have had some great meals. We were riding the gondola up the mountain and asked the couple we were riding with, who happened to live in Revelstoke, what there favorite restaurant was "Wolseys". Lucky for us! Hands... More

Might be not only the best place to eat in Revy, but perhaps in the surrounding area as well. The staff is very knowledgeable about their wine, and the food is varied and challenging yet consistent. If that makes any sense

We unexpectedly ended up in Revelstoke on a trip back to Calgary, and had the good fortune to stumble upon the Wolsey Creek Cafe for dinner. There are several vegetarian options on the menu (I had the cauliflower steak, delicious), and my husband devoured the beef tenderloin. Great upscale food in a very casual atmosphere. Attentive and friendly servers. Not... More

We arrived at about 7 pm and we're told that things might be a bit slow because two larger tables had been seated just before we got there. We got a seat, ordered a couple of drinks and our food. Despite being warned of the delay the food was ready within about 20 min from when we ordered. The food... More

Went for dinner and started with the Brie appetizer, which was delightful. Then ordered the venison loin with quinoa, and the beef short ribs with garlic mash potatoes. Both were wonderfully cooked, the vegetables were clearly from home grown supply as they had flavours you rarely taste in vegetable at any regular restaraunt. Food is organic and hormone free. The... Met up with friends from Calgary to do some turns at Revey. Where to go for dinner?? Our friends choice from years before, Woolsey Creek Cafe.... And it was awesome!! Everyone's main entree was terrific. The Caesar salad was actually full of flavor (always a hit and miss at every restaurant)!! I had the jambalaya, my hubs the salmon, our... More
