After trying multiple chowders on the West Coast, this was hands down the best I've ever had. Ordered a small and it was huge. The shrimp were also amazing. Everything was fresh and the decor was very funky and bright. The staff was friendly and very fast.

If you enjoy really good food and service then you must visit the Clam Bucket. They have a good selection of food from burgers to what they really specialize in and that is seafood. And if the weather is nice you can enjoy your meal in the outside terrace and take in the water view.

Not sure what is happening with the cook but the level of good meals have drastically declined. Server was very good. Food tastes like is came out of a can. Very sad, as it had become a very nice place for lunch.

My hubbie and I stopped here on our way to Tofino. This restaurant was recommended by our Canadian friends. Read the Tripadvisor reviews before we went there. We both ordered the one piece fish and chips. It was delicious! the wait staff were friendly and the food came quickly. We came on a Tuesday and saw many locals having lunch... More

My wife and I were in port Alberni. And had a grumbling tummy. Asked around of where to go for dinner. Clam bucket recommended. Wife wife was hesitant about the name. She is a picky eater and loved it. I also enjoyed my meal. Good food good service and good prices. We are from comox and would make the trip... More

Two nondescriipt meals served to hungry customers by attentive wait staff. Might pay a return visit if other local options are full or closed.

I had the shrimps with rice, the dish was just huge. I made the mistake to take some fries too, it was definitely too much for me. I would recommend this restaurant. Prices just bit higher than the normal.

Definitely worth eating here. Food is delicious and the staff is nice and caring. I had difficulty with parking and was not able to find a parking space as the restaurant was jam packed. Will definitely recommend this restaurant

I've been to this restaurant before, but I had forgotten what a quirky little place it is. It has a very nice small-town vibe, the service is very fast and friendly, and the food is excellent. They have a good, if small, selection of local beer. We tried the halibut and the chicken, and both were very well prepared. Definitely... More
