Great Chinese food. Like the atmosphere Also great for quick buffet on the run. I like the hot and sour soup.

We were hungry and looking forward to some Chinese buffet. We were the only guests and the buffet was very limited in choice and quantity. Would not go back.

They make the most delicious Won Ton soup with super fresh pork, delicious! The chicken egg foo Yong is always a hit, there's not much for goodies in their chow mein so we quit getting it because it's bland, but their veggie chop suey is done well & very tasty :) Had their lemon chicken before & it was very... The beef and broccoli beef tasted like it had been in a freezer for decades. Totally inedible. The Chow mein was made with flat noodles that must have been made at lunch time and were so mushy it was inedible. It also had no flavor whatsoever. Three of six of us had GI issues after being there that night. Would... More

We went out for dinner in Nelson and chose this restaurant because it offers a Chinese buffet. Unfortunately the dishes were tasteless. How do you ruin chow mein? The selection was also limited. And, the food was only warm not hot. The only good food was the carrot that was served as a dessert. The waitress was very nice and... More

My friend and I decided we wanted Chinese Buffet and were somewhat shocked that the Buffet was only served at supper, has been so for the last six months. Not daunted by that News, we took a look at the rather large menu and both settled on a combination dish of three foods, hers a vegetarian dish. What I enjoyed... More

Service was great but meal was worst I have EVER had!!!! We ordered off menu and received 6 bland disgusting dishes!!! The only thing palatable was the plain steamed rice we ordered for my kids! I will never go back and totally wished that I had checked the reviews of this place first- will never make that mistake again.

I wouldn't feed this slop to my pigs! honestly the poorest quality fattiest ginger beef(I think it was beef) MORE LIKE HORSE MEET GINGER BEEF, the chow mein was ichiban noodles with a couple soggy vegetables, JUST SIMPLY GROSS FOOD!! I sent it all back and left without eating, but stomach was feeling yukky from the experience. SAVE YOURSELF THE... More

For years New China has advertised on the radio about their take out Buffet. The only time I would ever do New China was for the take out buffet because the air conditioning is very poor and I don't find the restaurant to be very clean. Yesterday I saw a sign that said eat in only which for me meant... More

Nelson is a wonderful town... but this was by far the worst experience of my life. I can only blame myself for this: scout out the buffet before committing to it. If you like cold anything, fatty pork substituted for chicken balls, no chicken fried rice, or soggy breaded beef, than this place is for you. Otherwise, stick to the pub... More
