On my way back from Calgary I stopped for a late breakfast. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food came just the way I like it and the waitress checked often to make sure everything was good.

I travel through golden multiple times per month. You'll get friendly, fast service at the Husky House. My eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, thick serving of bacon. I don't like the coffee here as it always tastes watered down, but for a fast, friendly meal at a bargain with an old family feel you can't go wrong here.

Stop here a lot when passing through Golden, BC. Lots of Truckers stop her for meals and you see lots of families as well. The service is quick, friendly and the food good. They have specials all the time and good soups and love their breakfasts.

We stopped there on our way to Vancouver. The place was not very busy, the waitress was friendly and the menu, well, it was OK I guess. Food was well cooked and hot, presentation could have been better. In and out in good Time.

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch - it's one of many eateries on a roadside service area and we were drawn in by the lunchtime soup and sandwich offer. The toasted ham and cheese sandwiches were served with a bowl of tomato and vegetable soup, a side of fries and two coffees, all for around CAD$30.Service was a bit patchy;... More

Stopped here with the entire family (me, my wife and three girls, aged 11, 14 and 17). Service was fast and very friendly! Ordered five regular meals (no kids menu items) including the King of the Road burger (my 17-year-old nearly finished it!), a hot beef sandwich, omelette, turkey sandwich and a club sandwich. All of the meals were hot... More

The Husky House in Golden is a great place for Breakfast. It is a popular truck stop and for other travellers as well. It is very roomy and has friendly servers. They serve shredded hash browns which are a necessity for the men in our breakfast group.

Restrooms are clean but that is the best I can say. No enough staff on, limited food choices and no where to eat.

Please don't go here - we came as part of a tour stop a Chinese company. The husky staff were rude and when asked for things like water they would reply rudely. The staff the manager was in particular very rude, and when asked for a different dish he made a big fuss. It's not very clean either, customer service... More

We were 4 and of the four meals ordered, one was good. My son's fish and chip were rubbery and tasted like it got microwaved, my BF had breakfast platter which was cold and the other adult with us received her food cold. The service was terrible, not friendly. Would not go there again nor recommend it.
