We went due to the great reviews and were not disappointed. Servers were one of the best I've ever had. So attentive. Food was good too. Totally glad we went.

Perfect sparkling aperitif. My husband had red deer steak and I had scallops with a lobster aspic. The flavors and textures were wonderful. Wine choice was excellent, as well as the creme brûlée. Service was great and very nice complimentary extras.

We decided to eat here after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint! Located 10 minutes from the village, we arrived to a quaint and cozy establishment. We were greeted immediately by the friendly staff. The food was exceptional. My husband and I ordered the rack of lamb which was very tender. Appetizers, main courses and desserts were... More

Definitely worth the 15 minute ride from the MT resort. In a historic St Jovite house, this felt like a classic provincial French restaurant. We were welcomed charmingly and the menu was beautifully explained. We chose the Table D'Hôte which was more than worth it and almost every dish was delicious. My husband's local venison and my scallops were perfect.... More

The best restaurant we ever visited . Bouillabaisse (fish soup ) the best in the world --believe us we tried. We have been coming here for 18 years--food is always superb.

we took the combo menu w/6 courses, a bit of everything, cooking's good, yet a bit more to be desired. Fine dining to the true meaning but not a heavenly taste for what the reputation leads.

The best meal we had all weekend, we had a pre-fixe menu due to the holiday weekend, so we were a little bummed about that but it did not disappoint, their duck was divine, their foie-gras was amazing. The service is spectacular. You feel like you are in someone's house it's such a great experience. It's not in the village... More

We had an awesome dinner on New Years here. The restaurant's ambiance and overall atmosphere is quite romantic, low lighting, white tablecloth, etc. A reservation is a must for sure as the restaurant is one of the best in the area but small. Only prix-fix menu was offered and everything on the menu was delicious. We especially liked mushroom soup,... More

We ventured away from the ski village for an authentic French Canadian dining experience and Le Chaval de Jade did not disappoint. The restaurant is so quaint and the staff so welcoming. Being a vegetarian/pescetarian family with one gluten free child we were accommodated warmly with ample options. The children were very pleased with their butternut squash soups, crab cake... More
