The place is small but cozy and has an amazing view, especially if you are out on the balcony. I had the beet salad and it was larger than I expected and full of flavour. My only complaint is that shortly after being seated and getting our drinks we were asked to move because there had been a "mix-up" and... More

The seafood soup (of course) to start off, then the sandwich - what a great surprise. We were so pleasantly surprised that this small place offered such hearty and tasty lunch for hungry travellers! Reasonably priced also. Must try!

I stop by the Savvy regularly for coffee, lunch or the lobster benny breakfast (great sauce). Always a good overall experience. Good food, usually well prepared, reasonably priced. Had squash soup on my last visit which was delicious. The bread served with the soup was a little old/dry which is unusual. Popular location and can be crowded but the service... More

One of the very few places with plenty of gluten free options for people with celiacs! Our granddaughter's have celiacs and are picky eaters! They loved the French toast and grilled cheese, especially the bread. The chowder I had was delicious as was the haddock burger. Fresh and tasty! My husband had the breakfast with perfectly poached eggs and the... More

We had a great lunch of seafood. Also enjoyable was the dessert. Raisin and rum cake with carmel sauce. Great way to finish off the meal. Nice view of the wharf.

stayed in Lunenburg for 3 days/2 nights. Had breakfast here both mornings because it was great. Had the Smokehouse Eggs Bennie (smoked bacon instead of ham). best Eggs Bennie I've ever had hands down. Good selection of coffees and teas. My fiancé ordered the French Toast and it came on artisan bread with sliced banana's and local Nova Scotia Maple... More

The esthetics of this place are great with its elevated location over-looking the harbor and the Blue Nose 2. Our party of 6 were seated inside, it was cramped and hot. The service was very slow. The food, when it arrived from the kitchen downstairs (I think) left a lot to be desired.. the chicken cranberry Brie Panini could have... More

This is a wonderful spot that fronts onto the main street but looks out onto the harbour in the rear. The decor is casual seaport. There were decks to eat outside but it was too cold during our visit. The scallop po-boy was absolutely beautiful! The scallops were done perfectly. Anyone would be forgiven if they picked the scallops out... More
