Stopped in for lunch and had an amazing fish and chips pub lunch. The food, beer and service were all above par and I recommend the Knot for people who enjoy an authentic pub experience.

Weigh it out and see which makes the top of your wish list. The pub was not very busy but we waited a long time for orders to be taken. Food came quickly once ordered but it was hard to get wait staff to return to take orders or come back for additional drinks or even the bill when we... More

I flew in to Halifax picked up my rental car and drove to Lunenburg as my first stop i Nova Scotia. The Topmast Motel directed me to The Knot for a nice atmosphere a cold beer and a bowl of mussel soup. The Knot was great in all categories.

stayed in Lunenburg for 2 nights/3 days and were told about this place for their live music. decided to check it out and were thoroughly impressed! It's the "Locals spot" but everyone was very friendly. They could use a few more selections of Draught but that's not really a big deal. We decided to check it out again the next... More

Adorable atmosphere, great decor. We had 2lbs of fresh mussels cooked to perfection for only $12!! The Knot burger was our main and it was also cooked to perfection. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful pub experience that totally exceeds pub expectations

Never tried fish chowder before but if it is anything like the one they offer at The Knot, I will be sure to have it again! So good! My hubby had mussels and loved them as well.

Went looking for fish and chips. I wasn't disappointed. Pretty good fish, good cider from a local source. My buddy's fish cakes looked pretty good too. Service was fast and friendly without being pushy. Dessert was ok but not the best apple crisp I've ever had. Nice little spot, I'll come back.

Recommended by our B&B hosts. Stopped by in the afternoon for a beer and it was recommended to make reservations for dinner so, we did and it was a good thing too. When we arrived for dinner the place was packed and we were apprehensive about the wait. In about 10 minutes we were seated so, no problem. Their menu... More

A real gem. Great atmosphere and beer selection and food. Good variety of seating options. The place was crowded both nights we went there. The Caesar salad is amazing. In a great location between downtown inns and edge of town motels.

Thank Christina C
