staying for 2 nights on both nights a member of staffs partner in citron has sat outside my room with the radio blaring at 10.30 and 11.30 pm sitting outside as I write this. I also had a visit from the cleaner who came into...my room unannounced at 7.15am in the morning... really who cleans rooms at that time when you have paying guests.. Then there's the cold shower in the morning that will certainly wake you up on s November morning. rooms are small and stuffy I would consider somewhere else to stayMore

Still not serving a decent vodka tonic - why are you not serving it in a decent glass like a 'trendy' gin? You said you would train the bar staff - that's not happened - looked like a glass of water in a small glass...like last time. Scotch egg was good. Potted pork was served very cold with a thick layer of solid butter - not pleasant. Steaks were well cooked as ordered and tasty. Bearnaise sauce way too vinegary. Booking policy is odd. Latest we could book was 7pm. There were only 2 tables of 4 next to each other when we arrived . Large table arrived of 8 people but no-one else when we left, so don't understand why we couldn't get a later booking.More

Been visiting this place for a number of years the food used to be excellent especially the set lunch menu, (no longer available) this time we had the afternoon tea, I was disappointed, the cakes were 1cm square , the sandwiches didn’t have any taste,...the sausage roll was nice and so were the scones, but over priced for what we got. The place was empty which I thought strange for a Saturday lunch time. Such a shame as the setting is lovely but if the food doesn’t match up, no wonder it’s emptyMore

We visited for sunday lunch. The prawn cocktail was not quality the prawns were old and mushy consistency certainly not fresh. The lamb sunday roast one very small slaice is served and dare to ask for more and you will receive a rude rebuff assuring...you that if you visit again do not ask as the food is corden bleu. The small slice mainly consists of fat not meat. The roast poatoes were reheated tough and chewy again not fresh we will certainly not be returning.More

The hotel is lovely the staff friendly. Food lovely. Having said that it's the worst nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel. Constant flushing noise from bathroom. Very creaky bathroom door. No WiFi in rooms, no decent reception on TV either. It's a shame...because it really is a lovely place but would not reccomend unfortunately.More

We’d booked into the hotel so are here for dinner. The food was reasonable and absolutely top notch. Very tasty and well presented. The best thing about our meal was the service - Alice who served us seemed to really care about our experience. Over...all I’d highly recommend.More

We recently held our daughters christening reception at the White Sawn. It was nothing short of brilliant! The food for the buffet was delicious, we stayed for an evening meal with close family too. This was pre ordered, out on time, catered for members with...allergies and was perfect. Some family members also travelled over for the event and stayed over at the White Sawn hotel which was also great! Us and some other family members joined the family staying in the hotel the following morning for breakfast which was also spot on. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and attentive, special thanks to Karl who looked after us all so well. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable weekend.More

Just wanted a little over night stay as we were going to Blyton Park for the day. We didn't travel far but would travel further for good this nice. Main evening meal can only be described as perfect. Every mouthful of both our meals was...absolutely beautiful. Lovely restaurant, lovely staff. Breakfast beautiful too. Only think I'd say I'd since continental included...should also be provided with the paying full breakfast as doesn't seem right if that's included, a minor thing given the breakfast was so nice but worth noting I'd say. Amazing time, thanks.More

We have just returned after a two night stay at the hotel and had a perfect stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the lovely time. We chose this hotel due to not being too far from day trips from...sundown adventure park and cleethorpes beach. We also visited uncle henrys in nearby kirton lindsey which was fantastic. Scotter is a small village but a lovely place to stay, we enjoyed feeding the ducks ( the many ducks) and visited the local playground. The staff at the hotel really were amazing particulary maggie who served our breakfasts! She had such a caring approach and was lovely with our toddler , she took time to speak with us all which really made the difference. The food was also great and reasonably priced! We would definitely return! Thanks to all the staff.More
