I popped into the Downstream Coffee Company early Monday morning before driving the Cabot Trail. Loved the sense of humour, evident by the writing on the wall...I had to take a pic and am happy to share it! By the way,the coffee was excellent and they even had soy milk!!!

Visited this place for coffee two mornings in a row while staying at the Glenora Distillery (was about 15 minutes away). The second morning we had brunch. A very cool spot, good coffee, good brunch, reasonable prices and friendly service. Highly recommend as good coffee places can be a bit hard to find on CB.

I work from home so the Down Street Cafe is a great little spot to run to just to get out of the house and get some work done. Staff are super friendly, coffee is great and seating is comfortable. Will definitely return!

This is a great place to stop for a coffee break or lunch. We were on our way around the Cabot Trail and decided to take a break. The staff is friendly. The restaurant was very open in design, lots of light and very clean. We enjoyed an egg sandwich and soup before moving on.

The staff are good, the sound - clanking, banging, bad music is hard to take. The cookies very over priced. I think my chocolate chip cookie came from a bag, was hard and unpleasant. They were pretty much sold out of sweets, so I really do think they might have run to the grocery store and bought a bag of... More

Visited this cafe almost daily over a three week period. Great staff and service and most definitely the best coffee in the Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island provinces. Thankyou to Caithlin, Danny and staff

It was quite funny to walk into the Downstreet Cafe after two days on the Capital Trail in quaint Acadian inns and restaurants. Downstreet feels more like Halifax (or Vancouver). But the coffee, tea and scones were excellent and the atmosphere is great.

Found this place on our way to golf the first morning of our trip to play Cabot, and came back every day. Great breakfast sandwiches and scones to die for. Friendly, helpful staff and a nice atmosphere.

A little disappointing. We have heard what a wonderful little café this was so after a walk on the beach we decided to have a late lunch here. The menu is very limited especially because I do not eat beef or pork. Instead I decided to go with the breakfast menu which I was told ended at noon. The place... More

Downstreet Coffee Co. is great in every way: excellent coffee, wonderful homemade food & pastries, great atmosphere, good music, and free wifi! I wish there was a Downstreet in Newport Beach, because I'd be a regular!
