Whatever I spend in a restaurant I am looking for value for money and this place has it in spades! Set in a pretty village not far from the main A62 road Bordeaux - Toulouse this makes it a wonderful place to break your drive for lunch. The restaurant has a fab outside terrace and great views over the valley.We... More

Creative dishes that are always delicious. Very impressive presentation of the meal. The food is of high quality, fresh, and prepared perfectly. The service is excellent and we are always made to feel special. We are lucky to have this exceptional restaurant so close to our new home.

Staying overnight at Le Farat (superb nearby B&B) our host booked a table for us here. What a fantastic surprise to find such a high quality restaurant in a small village. Each dish was beautifully presented and well explained, and the taste matched the look! Lively atmosphere (several families as it was school half term), good wine recommendations and reasonably... Recommended by friend, spent 20 minutes trying to find the Auberge after reaching the village at noon. Another five minutes searching and we would have missed out. In a nutshell. Friendly staff, modern decor, scrupulously clean, lovely setting for those with the sense to book, creatively designed menu, beautifully presented and served with flair. Oh, and the food was just... We were advised to dine here for magret (duck) & foie gras, the specialties of the area. We were not disappointed. Besides the traditional dishes, we had other dishes and they were exquisite, so was the melon. A happy evening.

We have been coming here for many years and two weeks ago I had the best lunch - ever. The atmosphere is fun and the proprietor so knowledgeable. He recommended a wine and I have bought it again since - A Duras - perfect with duck which they served with apricots and Agen prunes. Frois Gras was fantastic with apple... More

A gourmet meal in a beautiful setting in a gorgeous part of France. This is the kind of food you might find in a stuffy chic restaurant, but not here. The Auberge is a charming, friendly setting with a wonderful outdoor terrace and garden. The service was great. The cheese course was unbelievable, as was my signature desert- and all... More

We are fortunate to live quite close to this establishment but we know that people come from far and wide to enjoy the experience. It must be said that the quality of the food is worthy of any city 5 star restaurant but at a fraction of the cost, in particular the "repas de jour". The food is not huge... More

This place is a treat. I've been 3 times in the last few years and enjoyed both the menu du jour and the tasting menu. The food and wines are excellent and the staff are attentive and friendly. The location is nowhere at all really so you really feel away from it all. You probably won't have much of a... More
