A great local pub welcoming walkers with dogs. Great ale and whisky selection and lovely garden to drink in. Highly recommended mid walk stop.

Accommodating staff, dog friendly, warm and relaxed atmosphere with a simple non-complicated menu (standard pub food). We really enjoyed having dinner here - the food was nice but the general feel of the Royal Oak Inn was really pleasant!
