My friend took me for a belated birthday lunch recently and we loved the cozy atmosphere. The taco soup was wonderful and the yam tacos superb. Unfortunately, with the rainy weather, we didn’t have margaritas but I know they are awesome. A nice winter treat.

This is my favorite spot in Powell River. There is only a couple "tables" out front but if you can get a seat (no reservations.) it's a great place to watch the world go by, albeit a slow Powell River world. Love it late afternoon...More

I must route through Powell River on my travel from Sechelt to Comox. I found the Casa del Sol after encountering closed restaurants in town. I very much enjoyed my salad, beer and the smiling faces that greeted me. I will definitely return.
