Going inside feels as wholesome as the breads are when you get them home. Someone truly cares. Happy service

Great assortment of bread and pastries. We bought a baguette and then some cheese from the cheese store next door. Prices are expensive but very good quality

Enjoyed the pretzel and the cinnamon bun. They also have gluten-free products. There was a good selection of teas and coffees as well.

I try to avoid this place because of the calorie intake, and the carbs. Everything is so good, I haven't tried something I didn't like.

This bakery based in Cowichan Bay has wonderful breads and other sweet treats. My husband has a gluten intolerance and they make several types of breads which he might be able to eat. We are testing two different loaves this week. They are not a gluten free bakery but have an information sheet on the gluten issue and some helpful... More

Our BnB host had provided some baked goods for breakfast and I had to more! They were amazing and tasted great. Upon inquiry, she mentioned True Grain. Quaint little bakery. Very pleasant ladies running the place. One of them (probably the owner) was always ready to answer questions about the many options of baked goods on display. She knew her... More

My favourites are the rye bread in the sour draw bread but there are many tasty bakery delights here You can buy grain that's grown here locally and money of their products are made with locally grown grain.
