We have eaten here quite a few times and have yet to find one thing wrong. The service is quick, friendly and efficient. The daily specials are always changing. The food is fresh, local and very beautifully presented. The mulligatawny soup is the best I've...More

Everything is made 100% from scratch, and brunch was a great family occasion. I have family that lives in Brentwood Bay (the town that's home to Zanzibar) and they're there once a week, and for good reason. I've now visited several times, and never even...More

It's like being in the forest while savoring the peace of a superb dining atmosphere. No picnic basket needed. The food is brought to you by very pleasant servers.Zanzibar is unique. It is in Victoria yet while you're in Zanzibar you are somewhere else, miles away.

We celebrated a birthday of a family member with a group of 8 at this funky restaurant in Brentwood Bay. It was terrific! We ordered items ranging from the lamb burger to the green curry shrimp, and all were done to perfection. The lamb biriyani...More

We ate lunch here on our way to the Butterfly Gardens. We ordered the tuna burger and the lamb burger and they were both delicious. Service was great and friendly.

This out-of-the-way restaurant offers an interesting menu inspired by Indian, North African, and Italian cuisines. There is patio seating, both sheltered and open, which we prefer because it's quieter. Service is pleasant and personal.

This is my daughter's favourite place so we went for Fathers' Day with a family group. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much and we'll be back again soon.

Nice place for lunch - indeed, my wife and I have only ever gone there for lunch. It's a super busy place, and rustic as can be, but the atmosphere and food are terrific. Parking is a wee tight in front of the building so...More

Hi - How noisy is the restaurant? Can you have a quiet conversation with the person across the table from you? The menu looks great and we would like to give it a try.

Hi, We always sit inside. It is not noisy, however the tables are close together. We nearly always get a window table - added privacy. True, you could hear people talking nearby, but I have never thought it was noisy... More
