Chosen for it being 1/2 way between but also because of having read reviews. Attentive staff , extensive and interesting menu with specials. My chowder was delicious as were the chocolate desserts although we shared them.. Overall extremely happy and will return.

Great portion sizes. Reasonable priced menu. Love the tapas options. I had the scampi tapas as a starter then the Aberdeen Angus burger followed by the espresso with vanilla ice cream - Amazing. My friend had the nachos followed by steak (over cooked, but ok) and also followed by espresso and vanilla ice cream. Will definite return when I'm back... More

We chose the Lamb hoping for somthing a little different, the specials were a little more unusual, but sadly the cod wasn't available which seemed a little odd when at 1 pm the place was very quiet 10 diners in all. The main printed menue has the usual pub meals, I consider the Lamb to be more if a top... More

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated like the most important people in the world - yes, customers. Thanks for the friendly greeting, soft humour and advice, the great local ale - kept PERFECTLY (and I know...) the superb house wine, the quality of the food and slick service - from all the staff,... Came here just after valentines for a weekend away. We used to live in Devizes a few years ago & ate here quite often. The service was excellent to. The house wine was a little pricey we thought but we will return in the near future to sample more delights the Lamb has to offer. Well done!!

Stopped on this lovely country pub for lunch on a quiet Tuesday. Great extensive menu - so much to choose from. We ordered jacket potatoe with chilli and hot chocolates. The food took a while to arrive however it was worth waiting for, one of the best chilli's I've had in a long time. A couple of things that did... More

We stopped at the Lamb on our way home from Cornwall. I started with the winter salad, my wife Garlic bites, mains were Lasagne and extra chips and Scampi and chips. I was driving so had fruit juice but she had a nice glass of red wine. Service was very friendly and quite efficient. The cost was reasonable at £42.75.... More

Stayed over for a couple of nights in holiday lets. Food was very well presented and mainly home cooked to perfection. Great choice of beers and wines.
