The words 'Do you have a table?' led to the beginnings of an unexpectedly great meal, wine and magnificent pud. The food is marvellous and probably the best quality on the high street. If you're looking to warm up a cold winters evening don't hesitate to book.

I've visited this restaurant a few times this year and each time it's been fantastic. Breakfast food is fairly expensive but really tasty. Sunday lunch however is possibly the best I've had and great value for money. There is a jazz band that plays once a month on a Sunday which makes for really easy listening and a great atmosphere.... I used to go here a lot when it was Nicholls, many years ago, and it never quite achieved the same feeling or atmosphere ever again. However, I met a friend for lunch here recently and was pleasantly surprised. There were a couple of old favourites still on the menu - the fish open sandwich for one which was lovely.... More

We have just had 4 days at Centre Parcs Woburn, but foolishly forgot to book an in-house restaurant for last night (Thurs 20th Oct). So we looked up local places to eat and found this little gem, just 15 mins away. They do a Thursday Supper Club, 2 starters, 2 mains and a shared dessert for £30. This was by... More

We had dinner here on a Thursday night - Supper Club Night - and were not disappointed. Food was delicious, service was attentive and polite, environment was cosy and welcoming. All in all a wonderful family meal.

Called off for morning coffee on way through the village. Tea, coffee and pastries OK. Had to ask for the bill when we had very obviously finished. After nearly 10 minutes of waiting another table asked for theirs and it arrived promptly. Eventually ours arrived with 3 extra hot drinks on it. When I queried it I was asked was... More
