My friend and I came here for afternoon tea on Sunday and were both thoroughly disappointed. We sat there for half an hour before the stand of sandwiches and cakes came out and then waited another 15 minuted before having to ask if we might be able to have some tea to go with them. It then took another 15... More

Fantastic meal - really varied flavours beautifully and interestingly put together. Every mouthful was a treat. The surroundings are sumptuous and very comfortable and the acoustics are perfect as no hard surfaces. The main course (lamb) was one of the finest I've had and rivalled some of the best restaurants in Paris. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will... More

Lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Very attentive waitress- especially for my dairy intolerance. Food was delicious! My only gripe is that drinks are expensive. £4 for a bottle of water for the table, £32 for a bottle of prosecco.

The service was lack lustre and considering the prices the food was very lacklustre. Lots of women who lunch - convenient if you're shopping on the store, but not somewhere Is want to visit again. Felt ignored, unwelcome and bored.

This is one of Bristol's most consistently high quality restaurants. It's been one of my favourites since it opened. I've eaten twice here again in recent weeks, once for a long pre-Christmas lunch and again with friends on a Saturday night in January. The service is professional, the staff really care. The menu offers a la carte and fixed price,... More

I have been to this bar many times and loved it each time. If you want a place to go whilst shopping that it is more upper class - then this is the place to go. It's a little pricey but the food is really good, the service is normally good and the ambience is great. Thoroughly recommend it.

I popped in for a couple of drinks on a friday night, It wasn't too busy and I understand that there was 2 bartenders but I must of waited 20 minutes for a drink, I'm not sure if it was because I was alone or maybe not dressed as well as some of the other people in there but it... More

Celebrating a birthday we took our two teenagers, all four of us were delighted with every course. My risotto was sublime and the lamb dish eaten by the boys was delicious. Service is unobtrusive yet attentive and the birthday message scribed on the plate in chocolate was a thoughtful touch. We've lunched here several times and we've never been disappointed,... More

After a gap of six months I returned to Harvey Nichols. As before, the staff were very friendly/ helpful and the food was very good. The restaurant was however very empty. We wondered if this could be because it is more expensive to dine at lunchtime than in the evening - unlike most other Bristol restaurants. (Three courses from the... More

We visited the cocktail bar next to the restaurant and we came with an expectation that the place would live up to. An air of exclusivity, excellent service, a relaxing yet vibrant ambience maybe? Sadly, none of the above. When we walked in we were greeted with an overpowering smell of, to put this as delicately as possible, babies soiled... More
