Booked Mezzaluna for my 60th Birthday with 11 friends. The service and food was amazing. Thank you so much to all the staff that looked after us.
I have visited Mezzaluna on a number of occasions. I have always found the restaurant very warm and welcoming. It is spotlessly clean! All of the staff, including the owner Oz, are extremely friendly and helpful, and the service is great. The pizzas are delicious...and the chicken pasta dish is 1st class!! I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant and I will definitely be visiting again very soon!More
Amateurish food, , copying genuine Italian foods. Ordered fresh Focaccia, ended up with 3 slices of normal bread (my bread machine makes it waaaay better better!) - sprinkled with Olive Oil, , EXCESSIVE salt and DRY Rosmarin - [ FYI ONLY- genuine Italian food is...served with FRESH ingredients!!] You can buy for a pound from FRESH rosemary from Tesco’s next door to your restaurant and use it for like 50 slices of bread, or what you call “focaccia” !! Price doubtlessly is rip-off, and I bet the rest of the food if I would have ordered anything else,, it would’ve been nothing, but a disaster for sure and nowhere, near genuine Italian food - run away from these Cowboys! The “Italian chef” I could see cooking, was wiping his forehead of sweat with bear hand, and continue to complete his dishes. Perhaps that’s where the extra salt came from🤔😤🤮🤮 - see picture number 3 attached and LEARN HOW REAL FOCACCIA SHOULD BE MADE AND SHOULD LOOK / PRESENT - For me, it was the 1st time and certainly last, in this such a rubbish fake italian restaurant with very poor hygiene standards let alone food quality !!More
Thank you for such a beautiful and colourful review. We've also read through your countless other 1 star reviews you have left for other business' and find it hard to believe that such a human can exist. Your comments about our Italian chef's are so...More
Went for a mid week dinner, sat through the back which is a lovely setting. Starters and mains were delicious, and the team were super lovely. Thank you!
Delicious pasta dish. So flavoursome. Perfect lunch. Fantastic quality of Chardonnay and superb, friendly service.
Went with 6 friends for one of their anniversary meals on a Friday evening. Pretty quiet for a Friday night. Good service and polite staff. We all had a mixture of dishes and everyone seemed to enjoy theirs. My lasagna was lovely and fresh with...garlic bread and side of fries. However, my husband’s was not so good. It looked like it had been dropped or someone had been eating at it. The bottom was dried out & crusty. The fries over done. It’s a pity he had a poor dish as the rest of us were happy with ours.More
Ruined my daughters birthday and our family Father’s Day celebration. Horrible and AGGRESSIVE manager. Waited an hour and a half for our pizzas. Took 25 minutes before anyone asked for a drink order. We politely asked to speak to the manager after two hours of...being messed about with four young children. Manager refused to come out. When we did approach him, his immediate response was to shout aggressively at us. He then stormed off. We just paid £200 for drinks, a few pizzas and a burger that took two hours. I am horrified at the way this man treated his staff and patrons. He caused upset and spoiled our evening. Shameful.More
Hello and thank you for the review considering the bad night you experienced. Unfortunately, we were extremely busy this day (Father's day) and all service was fast as possible. We are sorry your table was the only one who had such a long wait. The...More
Waited 25 minutes for a drink order and only got served then as we asked. Ordered food for a table of 11 including 4 young children after 40 minutes. We waited an hour for our order (which we again had to chase) whilst watching other...tables who came in after us, order drinks and food, eat and drink and leave again whilst we still had nothing. Asked 3 times to speak to the owner/manager. I then clarified with the staff, who advised he was refusing to speak to us. He could clearly be seen where we were sat just chatting to the kitchen staff I went to the kitchen hatch and asked why he would not speak to me. To sumerise "we should be grateful he was working on Fathers Day when he has not seen his children". There was me thinking thats a personal choice when you decide to buy and run a restaurant that earns you a lot of money that you may work unsociable hours. My advice would be choose a different restaurant with an owner who treats his customers with the respect they deserve in a timely manner.More

Management are rude and arrogant OZZIE/OZZY should be ashamed of himself and the way he treats customers and staff! Not doing food in ticket order meaning large tables are left HOURS waiting for food people who ordered over an hour after were served their food...before us then instead of dealing with the situation he stood in the kitchen allowing young ladies to deal with it even after repeatedly asking to speak to him direct. This is not how a successful business should be run.More

The manager was so aggressive. I complained about the loud Xmas music on the 2nd of December to be asked if I was drunk and that I should watch myself as it’s Xmas. 😂 all this in front of my children after spending £54 on...pizza! Ask yourself do you want to line this man’s pocket???More
Thanks for your review. Due to it being December and having a lot of Christmas parties booked in, we started playing Christmas music from at least the 1st December. We are fully booked during December and we managed to fit you on a table. You...More
I visited Mezza Luna for a roast dinner with a big group of family last weekend. My partner and I are vegetarian so don't often eat out for roasts but we were SO pleased we did! It was delicious.. generous portion sizes, the veggies were...amazing, seasoned to perfection! And we didn't feel we were missing out just because we didn't have meat.. the veggie sausage replacements were Great! We will definitely be back another Sunday for another meal, as it was fairly priced, lovely atmosphere and friendly team! Would definitely recommend to others.More
I was really happy with my experience here. The staff are friendly, great wine list and fresh food seasoned perfectly. 10/10
What a delicious and tasty lunch I had today and at 21.00 for a main, glass of wine, coffee and dessert was very good value too. Havent had such fresh tasting home-made pasta for ages. Accompanied with a decently priced glass of wine and followed...with the gorgeous Tiramisu (it has chocolate sauce at the bottom which made it extra yummy) Helpful, friendly service too. They do a lunch-time special for 12.95 which now Ive tried the quality and the standard of cooking I will not hesitate in trying! Lovely experience in a well-run restaurant.More
We visited on Saturday evening. The service was very good and the food lovely. So good to see a true Italian restaurant . especially the desserts. We all had mains with lots of side orders , drinks and desserts. The fresh vegetable portion was cooked...to perfection. We all choose different items and each one was presented very well. We would book again very soon.More
