Visiting this lunchtime around midday 22/06/21, we were very happy with everything about this visit. The young ladies serving were excellent and seated us promptly after asking us to complete the Covid sign in. Our drinks arrived promptly, we ordered our food and it was well worth waiting for. We are happy to pay a higher price for the food here as it is so excellent. Ossy and his team are doing a great job.

What a delicious and tasty lunch I had today and at 21.00 for a main, glass of wine, coffee and dessert was very good value too. Havent had such fresh tasting home-made pasta for ages. Accompanied with a decently priced glass of wine and followed with the gorgeous Tiramisu (it has chocolate sauce at the bottom which made it extra yummy) Helpful, friendly service too. They do a lunch-time special for 12.95 which now Ive tried the quality and the standard of cooking I will not hesitate in trying! Lovely experience in a well-run restaurant.

Oz and his team are friendly and welcoming.
I'm a regular as I work in the Tesco next door and quite often have lunch or coffee with my workmates.
The food is always fresh and tasty, and unlike other places I never feel rushed to eat and get out.
The staff even laugh at our terrible jokes.
Can't wait to go back.

Visited with a date for EOTHO. Service took nearly ten minutes to seat us and sat us at a table with a giant green X on it. There was no attempt to social distance between customers or staff, who were inattentive. Service was slow.
We shared the calamari to start which was okay, definitely the best bit of the meal. Our main courses came however and were incredibly disappointing. My salmon salad was totally bland, as was my date’s pizza, and my salad had a pool of water at the bottom.
We did not stay for dessert and even for the half price we paid, it was not even worth that. God knows how disappointed we would have been had it been full price.
The food would have been passable but the service and the lack of social distancing were very disappointing. The most uninspiring meal I’ve had in a while.

Waited 25 minutes for a drink order and only got served then as we asked. Ordered food for a table of 11 including 4 young children after 40 minutes. We waited an hour for our order (which we again had to chase) whilst watching other tables who came in after us, order drinks and food, eat and drink and leave again whilst we still had nothing. Asked 3 times to speak to the owner/manager. I then clarified with the staff, who advised he was refusing to speak to us. He could clearly be seen where we were sat just chatting to the kitchen staff I went to the kitchen hatch and asked why he would not speak to me. To sumerise "we should be grateful he was working on Fathers Day when he has not seen his children". There was me thinking thats a personal choice when you decide to buy and run a restaurant that earns you a lot of money that you may work unsociable hours. My advice would be choose a different restaurant with an owner who treats his customers with the respect they deserve in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, we were extremely busy this day (Father's day) and all service was fast as possible. We are sorry your table was the only one who had such a long wait. The manageress was sent to your table each time you asked to speak personally to the owner, who was very busy in the kitchen.
Food ticket order does not necessarily mean the food is sent out in that order. There are starters and tables that want food sent out at the same time, pizza oven can only handle so many pizzas and lasagna's / garlic breads at once.
Your table had 5 pizzas and the pizza oven was backed up at this point with previous orders and take-aways to the point where the stones in the oven were cold and required time to heat up before the next pizzas could be cooked,
The owner did not appreciate the yelling for his attention. We understand your annoyance at the late food but this was also disrespectful for us in our busy and stressful environment.
The manageress brought drinks to your table on the house as apologies but clearly you were still not satisfied.
Again we are very sorry for your bad experience, we appreciate the fact that you enjoyed your food. Thanks again.

Management are rude and arrogant OZZIE/OZZY should be ashamed of himself and the way he treats customers and staff! Not doing food in ticket order meaning large tables are left HOURS waiting for food people who ordered over an hour after were served their food before us then instead of dealing with the situation he stood in the kitchen allowing young ladies to deal with it even after repeatedly asking to speak to him direct. This is not how a successful business should be run.

Visited today for my dads birthday, there were 6 of us, 3 of us had the Sunday roast. All 6 meals were absolutely delicious, spot on, along with the cheesy pizza garlic bread for starters.
All staff were very polite, very covid secure.. would deffo recommend and be back.

Booked a table here after checking reviews on trip advisor and others. It was a Tuesday night so it was quiet. The lady who greeted us, was staffing the bar and also our waitress. She was very pleasant and polite. My significant other and my daughter both had steak cooked just the way the had asked for, I had risotto and sea bass spot on. I have a sweet tooth so was always going to have dessert but I was a little upset when they had no cheese cake left. No problem the waitress suggested I have the homemade tiramisu. It’s the best you will have. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Came here last night (02/07/22) Was shown to my seat and given the menus. We had a Garlic Bread with cheese starter which we both shared. Our mains came pretty much as soon as we finished our starter, would had liked a small delay. We both thoroughly enjoyed our mains and if no one was looking I would had licked my bowl clean. Also ordered some chips between us on the side. They were delicious, deep fried, naughty but nice! Will we return? Absolutely. My 2 moans (not really moans but....) 1 Delay the mains after starters a little bit longer 2 Fill the pepper pots up, I had to pinch one from the table next to me. Message for the chef, your food is GERT LUSH and we will be back *****

Came here as a couple for my birthday. Had booked online for the time we wanted.
I would like to see a few more things on the menu but there was quite a few meals I would like.
I had the Lasagna and had hoped it came with a salad but it didn’t.
It was piping hot, delicious and a generous serving ( was able to share)
I did feel our experience was a bit rushed, however it was a good meal.
We shall certainly return as the food was delightful

We visited on Saturday evening. The service was very good and the food lovely. So good to see a true Italian restaurant . especially the desserts. We all had mains with lots of side orders , drinks and desserts. The fresh vegetable portion was cooked to perfection. We all choose different items and each one was presented very well.
We would book again very soon.

What a lovely find on West Street Bedminster. We do not know the area well but came to visit family here and had an evening meal at this restaurant. The staff, who feel like a large Italian family (but I dont think they actually are!) were very welcoming, relaxed and helpful. Perfect balance of giving us time to chat and choose but also ready to help whenever we needed it - even on this busy evening where most tables were full.
Food was delicious - I had lamb tagliatelle to start with and moussaka, my son and husband had fantastic steaks!
The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and laid back
I am definitely recommending!! Enjoy.

First visit here and have to ask myself why have we never been here before?
After hearing some good reviews, we gave it a try and was not disappointed. The food here is excellent, well priced and good portion size. Starting off with Calamari which can be so hit or miss, here it was a massive bullseye ! More often than not calamari is over cooked in thick and heavy batter making the squid very rubbery. Not here. A lovely light batter cooked to perfection. No rubbery squid in sight, large rings of delicious calamari with a nice garlic mayo on the side. Off to a great start !
For main, Mezzaluna Lamb. Lamb rump with a kind of dauphinois underneath, fine beans and some lovely dehydrated and fried onions on top. Thick, tasty gravy around the plate. Lamb perfectly cooked at medium and tasted great. As for the wife, Mezzaluna Chicken. Very similar but with a creamy sauce. As with the lamb, excellently cooked and seasoned.
My only gripe, the sautéed spinach side. At £3.95, was expecting more than a few spoonfuls of wilted spinach. Perhaps cooked with some of the dehydrated onions and garlic butter would’ve been a good touch. That was disappointing I have to say,
Onto desert. Lovely Tiramisu. Light, creamy and perfectly balanced with coffee. Great end to the meal.
Drinks wise, only 2 draught lagers on San Miguel and Porini. But it’s a restaurant, not a bar.
All in all, an excellent meal with very attentive waitresses. Other than the small gripe on the side, it cannot be faulted. We will definitely come back here and would without hesitation recommend.
9/10. BELLISSIMO !

Best food, best service, best best best! Been here so many times and it’s consistently BEST! 🥰
All the staff know what they’re doing and they go out their way to make sure you have a great meal. Friendly relaxed family run restaurant, what more can you ask for. Unpretentious, relaxed great atmostphere.

I visited Mezza Luna for a roast dinner with a big group of family last weekend. My partner and I are vegetarian so don't often eat out for roasts but we were SO pleased we did! It was delicious.. generous portion sizes, the veggies were amazing, seasoned to perfection! And we didn't feel we were missing out just because we didn't have meat.. the veggie sausage replacements were Great! We will definitely be back another Sunday for another meal, as it was fairly priced, lovely atmosphere and friendly team! Would definitely recommend to others.
