Very good service and good fresh food

A good find. Duck was fresh and well cooked and spiced. Sliced beef was beautifully soft and well seasoned. Squid tasty and lightly battered. Steamed rice and noodles good. Overall a good meal and recommended

The Best

We came for a 70th Birthday 14 of us When we arrived there was 2 helium balloons provided which was a great surprise, most of us ordered the set menu,, which was absolutely amazing I’ve never seen so much food keep coming out , the...food was cooked to perfection and really tasty, we all enjoyed our food and a few took food home to where there was so much ,, we enjoyed so much we’ve booked to come back , you all work hard and you can tell thankyouMore

Delicious

Delicious! I can’t fault the quality or value of the food we ate. The beef was soft and succulent. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The best Chinese I have eaten.

Made to feel very welcome

What a great Chinese restaurant. Small menu perfectly executed. The staff are so polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Very reasonably priced for such quality food. Highly recommended.

Flipping delish

Nicest staff ever. Peking duck to start, perfect. I went a bit off menu for mains and asked for mixed meat and prawn kung pao. Not a bother at all, huge portion of beef, chicken char sui and prawns, great sauce. Wife had roast pork...and beansprouts, again thoroughly delucious. Decent prices, well worth a visitMore

Best Chinese meal I gave had in a very long time!

I've stopped going out for Chinese meals as they all seem to be much of a muchness and the food doesn't particularly excite me. However I was in Bristol with my sister & niece and it was decided that we should go for some Chinese...food. I googled "best Chinese restaurant in clifton" and the Emperor Court came up so I booked it. We werent disappointed, the food was delicious the only thing that K was disappointed about was that I couldn't squeeze more food in! I'm just gutted now that there's not one near where I live in Manchester. I would highly recommend it!!More

Great food but restaurant needs a revamp

Been a good few years since we last visited Emperor Court but it was well worth coming back. The restaurant is very old fashioned and a bit tatty and perhaps a little bright in there. We ordered duck to start followed by fried noodles with...spring onions, Szechuan prawns and beer with ginger and spring onions. All the food was reasonably priced given the portion size and very fresh and tasty. Service was very friendly but a little slowMore

New Year’s Day dinner

Lovely food, reasonable priced and very friendly and attentive service - would definitely reccomend. Only downside would be decor is quite tired.

Lovely Chinese restaurant - fresh food and attentive service

First time to this restaurant. Family of 5. The food was very fresh and tasty, the service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Hope to return next time we come to Bristol.

Excellent traditional Chinese, great service, good value

First visit to this restaurant and definitely hope to return. We had starters and mains- all the food was excellent- good flavours, generous portions and wholesome. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the service was excellent

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Such a warm welcome back! Always such good food, the set meal was varied with many courses and absolutely delicious with so much of it! (All with a no fuss swap out of a main due to not eating that meat too). It has got...to be the best Chinese food in Bristol. Very much look forward to next time.More

Brilliant food and friendly service

Eaten there 3 times now and food has been amazing each time and service has been friendly and helpful, drinks are very reasonably priced which a nice change for a restaurant, portion sizes are great
